I went to collect sugar cane on a boat so we could make paper to make maps because we lost ours (not good when you've only explored 2% of the map. So what happens? I got lost. I am literally lost as ****.. just stuck on the santa maria in the equivalent of the new world fighting my way home. I rescued a village under siege by zombies so far. I just asked my buddy to put torches on the highest peaks around our base to help me out.
At any rate, I have begun to effect my own rescue and bring home the paper. That's right. Who is your daddy and what does he do?
This is more epic than when I fell into a mineshaft with no pick axe.. just an iron sword. I had like 10 diamonds, 200 red stuff. I was loaded and if I died.. shudder. I could only go down for a while. My mate then mounted the most epic deep underground rescue ever seen in a video game.

I find it to be alright (not good enough to pony up the money though) I've played it at my friends house a few times, I can never get into the building part of it. I rather just roam around, spend a bit in a cave or something, craft some items, pack up and move on. He just builds a city or some ****.

Kinda like how it used to be, except we'd have a way to cross open spaces without getting smashed.

Problem with the approach on your end shotty, only gal and Cal can do that because Min and Amarr can be picked up on passive without the cloak. As is, you'll get the kill before enough data is transferred to the other team
All you needed was a Complex Dampener and no one could scan you passively. They hyper prevalence of scans to negate the need for situation awareness has gimped the scout pretty hard. We might have gained a slot, back to Chromosome slot numbers, but we lost one at the same time with the super low numbers of Precision.

proto scanner < basic damp < 2x Precision < Enhanced damp < 3x precision < complex damp
was the game of attrition back in 1.7
Now you need a 2 complex damps (& a cloak for Min and Amarr) to get past what used to only take 1 slot.
Power creep of Precision has been stupid. It's pathetic that you need to have someone use passive scans because you're so bad at the game that without them you just get defeated regardless of what the attacker is using.

I agree it need sot be fixed. But it isn't fixed and after 14 months of me asking it still isn't even acknowledged by the devs.
So what you are goign to end up doing is stacking that delay on the sprint bug. I won't know if i am in delay, sprint bugged or wtf.

Besides running into that and the sprint bug combined together into a super bug, I just think there must be a better way.
I know I know.. well even if I don't have that better way, I think it needs far more thought. This is far too head long down a path that makes the cloak just a stupid gimmick ultimately.
A cloak should be combat oriented. But you guys are giving **** up left and right without asking for something in return. IF it is removed as a combat option, then it better get buffed in other areas. Like double or triple the timer on it. Make the dampen bonus much higher.. like you don't need to run damps to get under every scan while it's on.
The combat usefulness for positioning is key. If you have delays and BING DONGS going off when you use it then it better ******* get some real worthwhile buffs in their place. You guys are headlong making it worthless for no reason other than the typical fatty crybaby crowd wants it so.
Edit: It's already easy to get from a-b undetected, btw. You and I do it in ambush all the time uncloaked.

Mined to bedrock, found red stuff, made 4 compasses (they work!! I WAS LIKE :O.. :D), then sailed home. I used all three classes in the Beta, Golden Gun was fine. I've been over this before.
Titan Fists and Nova Bomb both required you to expose yourself and get within a certain range.
Titan: To be used in very CQC, rush the room and wipe out anything inside, problem is if they're behind any kind of cover you do nothing and will get a shotgun in the face.
Warlock: You're launched into the air like the Hunter and can be shot, the nova bomb also has travel time and so can be potentially dodged if using over a longer range, and it's the only special that you can kill yourself with it if you use it in too tight a space.
Hunter: The golden gun needs to be used from a distance, do the twirl in cover and fire out through a doorway or something. The only downside is some of the map designs are all CQC corridors etc. But on the moon it was damn useful for taking out that tank thingy I'm now drawing a blank on the name of. You're the only class that can one shot from half way across the map without the warlocks travel time.
I heard every single class and weapon and super ability QQ'd about.
No, I'm not doing this again, this is not CCP and balancing will be done quickly (they showed this in the Alpha/Beta). In the future I'm sure there will be balancing issues when getting into higher tier stuff but that will be delt with. But I will start giving people **** for unnecessary QQ.

Titan is invincible while performing the animation. The Warlock is performing an attack, so you can end up killing the guy that kills you. Golden Gun just does an animation that leaves you vulnerable. You can work around it because of the charges but it can be hard to anticipate if someone will be in range by the time you find a place to hide, active, then round the corner.

oh yea I forgot about that. And also the fact 2 or wwas it 3 knife attacks to a titans one punch KO. Melee combat on a hunter was just useless.

Players use Ishokune variant for several reasons.
1. For players who miss alot OR enjoy spam firing with more damage than a tactical. It's a standard sniper rifle.
2. They're accustomed to it, since charge is only prototype level, and expensive. NT-511 users will naturally feel more comfortable with the Ishukone as they advance into prototype weaponry.
3. The charge sniper rifle is so loud and high pitched it drowns out the sound of incoming hostile drop ships coming to kill you. (why this issue was never addressed is beyond me, anyone who uses this rifle certainly knows of this very real downside)
It takes time to charge your shots, and enemies can make it to cover much faster if this is your weapon of choice. The standard variants have more of an inevitability to a players death. Like being point blank on someone with a fully auto combat rifle, there are enough bullets in the clip to end most people, and you can afford to miss a lot. The charge is more a kin to burst combat rifle. Higher damage, but if you miss half your shots your results are less than spectacular.

Also, the SG + cloak tactic is only good in pubs. It simply does not work well in any competitive setting.
The people complaining literally just do not have situational awareness or understanding of how to counter a CQC fighter.
