Definitely not easy. I would just go for C++ if I were you, afaik C isn't used for much anymore. C++ is pretty much the lingua franca of programming languages.

There is a lot to consider. you could dev your **** in your favored language and it wouldn't even be marketable. Making money is what knowing a language is all about. It doesn't have to be, of course. Hobbies are fine.
At the end of the day you have to create something that will return the most revenue for the least amount of work. That's not to say you have to sacrifice quality.. you get to judge the least amount of work after all. Quality should never take a hit for short term gain. That's ******* lame ****. But at the end of the day- if you get fluent and competent in any given language- the benefits of that will carry over to the next language you find the most profitable to learn.
The key is to get to a place where you can lay out an idea and then create it without compromise. The language that lets you do that is the one to invest time in.

I know what course King was takingGǪ Spouse took it and in her opinion it was great for foundation building and springing into other things. Hell i learned stuff while she was taking the course just through dinner conversations and playing Dust in the same room while she was working.

Game so far :
Lay in bed for 2 weeks, realize facial hair looks goofy, bro won't help me up but instead forces me to crawl, he doesn't realize his gown isn't fully closed, fire, lots of fire, steampunk ronald mcdonald, blaze got buff/ugly, flaming unicorn. and we are at a coundown of more game stuff downloading.

I hate those things neck brace things especially when they put in on tight. I couldn't say that many words cause i guess i was stunned or in shock from hitting my head. Since no one had the patience to listen to me i said fukit and took the brace off and threw it.
Then a nurse came & mom & put it back on tight and tried to put on IV in my hand, which usually never hurts but it did so i did my best to take it out. When i couldn't use my other hand to take it out, i tried to bite the nurse, she was mean anyway, probably cause i was freaking out, so it took my mom & nurse to stop me from trying to rip the IV out and take off the neck brace.
Mom calmed me down after a while. Mom helped out cause she didn't want them to restrain me. Skip ahead to after MRI & stuff, the same ***hole doctor i had last time walks in, cause he happens to be the guy that can read the MRI.

Which is why my other arm is still throbbing because of not letting him take off my Headphones. My other hand had the IV in it which hurt bad enough that i could barely use my fingers, my right arm still throbbing but i can use in more.

When you're coding as a team, and your company not only pays for the creation, but the upkeep, it comes down a lot more to *where* you write it and how maintainable you make it, rather than the language.
Anyone can learn syntax - writing maintainable code is where the art is. And yes seriously it *is* an art - not engineering.
