Had a good time today squadding with Shotty, dziurz and a few others. Though we got **** stomped by AE in the game after shotty left. Horrible. Most of the players quit but dz and I stuck it out till the end for some reason.
I went 1/7. They robbed me of 70k ISK!!! DOGZ!!!

Yeah, I'll try to be around! I'm always up for a bit of scout antics - it was impressive watching you guys work yesterday. I could tell you I'm rusty but the honest truth is that I'm just an average player.
But I've got HEART! 
And I need to get some practice in to see if it's IOP to spec into or back again to SCP..... tasty choices.

My two cents: Bolt > ScP > IoP
Though I'm pairing the above with a Shotgun (prefer running a Rifle with Knives). Not sure what I'd run if I were a _____ (... what did we decide we'd call 2-pistol Scout?). Probably dual Bolt Pistols. Because Jolly Roger.

I know what you mean, but you eventually get used to the timing. The BP is very a much a "feel" weapon. Not sure how else to explain it. It's also sometimes a magical weapon :P

I know what you mean, but if you get the BP a chance you eventually get used to the timing. The BP is very a much a "feel" weapon; not sure how else to describe it. Sometimes, it is also a magical weapon :P Plus, it's quiet and doesn't instantly give away your position like most other weapons. Hits hard enough to be a great opener and a great finisher. Hmm.... well, I guess I really should give the BP a bit of serious play testing before I make any sort of final write-off. Besides those videos of Jolly do showcase it's power pretty well.
But then again most of the time when I watch Jolly's vids I think "This guy could go into battle armed with nothing more than his dong and a rusty spoon and come out ahead of half the enemy team."
Aight - BP will get a fair trial, gunslinger style!

Surprisingly, haven't had the random charge all last night. Played 6 games, and it seemed to hit mostly. I may have to test them on my ak.0 sentinel, since sadly that is my only proto suit. When I get a respec, speccin only Gallente lol - when I get more SP, will most likely branch into Matari or Caldari. Still not sure what to spec into first, Assault or Commando.
But the Ion seems to be a little bit more reliable, and the ADS seems more precise. I mean, I still got bumfudged by my own pistol, got killed when I should've won the 1v1, damn overheat.

I think Shotty's reply was spot on - it's literally less than a week since Pokey dropped by asking for some in-depth discussion on EWAR, and Rattati dropped in just yesterday asking for the same.
My brain hurts when I try to think about EWAR, and plenty of people here have good insights into the options, yourself and Shotty included. Club together and brainstorm.
Here's my remit ;-)
Scout strengths should be agility and stealth. Stealth can mean hiding, as well as seeing. Situational awareness should be a scout mantra, but not at the expense of removing it as a player skill.
Remove overlap with other classes (for example, logi p.scan radius). It's also an FPS, so ignore anyone who says a scout should only scout. Remove their unique killing abilities and nobody will play them.
Finally, I should not be able to fit an assault or logi (or any other suit for that matter) to make a better scout than I can a scout. I believe I still can - and the reason for this is the slot differences.
I can't comment on the cloak and how that interplays with EWAR I'm afraid - I can't stand the cloak. Now this is subjective and biased on my part, but I do not believe a scout should have to fit a cloak to be a scout. So make sure EWAR is not affected by it. The other way around is fine, but don't make EWAR stronger with a cloak.
Now any of this *could* be done without touching scouts - getting the interplay between classes and races is tricky, and you can always touch all the others instead. But the end result should mean role bleed only exists when a fitting is nerfing itself in other areas. Coz sandbox.

Depends on range. Though I generally like to get in close with the ion pistol.
I haven't used it in a while.
