I use it to kill wounded enemies or to get people to back off when they try to chase.

However, the only way assign prestige in a meaningful manner would involve partitioning the Killboard into various sections to account for character history and combat role. For example, many Scouts who have disproportionately high KDRs are converts from other classes. In short, I'd prefer not to overcomplicate the Killboard and the process of tracking our statistics. More importantly, I'd prefer to avoid where possible any change which could unnerve or disrupt our Scoutly ranks. - Shotty GoBang

I have to agree with pseudo on this. KDR isn't as meaningful as it probably should be. It isn't even necessary to redline snipe to get a very good KDR as a sniper (though realistically its a snipers job to kill lots without being seen). Its a valuable function as long as half the team isn't doing it, however it tends to warp the stats a lot. Edit: I've been using the shotty a lot more recently (shotty scout), and have to say it definitely seems better in 1.2 than the previous build. Still not perfect, but enough to be encouraging.

While I hear all the objections and agree that it probably wont give an accurate picture, I thought we were all in here for fun and camaraderie. We are all working on the honour system in here and the board already breaks down kills and shows high and low K/D etc. We dont know how players at the top amassed most of their kills or how players that are flying up the board now are doing it either so adding that wouldnt really tip the scales either way. I understand the reasoning and its fine by me.
