The "database" isn't really an issue. The issue has always been RAM. Less suits to render means more ram. More loadouts aren't really a problem since they use the same suits.

Still if you launch the "progression" tab it needs to be loaded into your RAM along with all the suit info,images,etc. Besides, my point is we can't be 100% certain it's not a database issue. Because "Reasons".

I have no idea how it's implemented in dust, but CCP has to ADD a new asset like power cores to actually reduce the load because of their faulty design (they thought ps3 is going to hatch ram in itself overtime?) blows my mind.

I really hope I'm wrong, because I love this game, but gaming at ~15 fps is really killing me and it doesn't seem like power core is going to change that.

It seems there is a serious memory leak, why else would resetting help?

I don't know where all the Dev's come from background wise, but most of CCP's experience as a compony comes from development on PC, where you can lay the onus on the end user to upgrade.
