In this day and age, a sniper can still be as effective and affective. Though I have yet to see a sniper as good as Atiim was or that other guy that I always forget their name. But still, snipers can still cause bits of paranoia and anger on the battlefield, more so anger i believe. On to your first point. I completely agree, the Sniper definitely needs improving. If nothing else, it needs at the very least it's old scope and range back. The sway is fine I guess, I am sure people have adapted to it by now, even though it is an annoyance. I know they actually just nerfed this Roden's damage or whatever, but perhaps they can increase the regular ones (std - proto) damage by 10%. Perhaps we would see less Thale's and more Kaalakiota's or Ishukune's or even NT-511's. Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent

How many times are you going to die in said APEX suit? A few hundred times? A few thousand times? For 60k AUR, you can buy and outfit a very large number of ADV fittings. ADV suits are, IIRC, in fact superior to APEX because since slot tiericide they actually have more CPU/PG (correct me if I'm wrong on this, but it honestly makes little difference). You have to lose thousands of this exact suit without changing the fittings (if you change the fittings your expenses go up and for a fair comparison you would proportionally increase the budget for the ADV suits) before the APEX suit becomes worth it. Thousands. If you're going to die a couple thousand times, it would be more worthwhile to grind FW because the proportional time investment as part of your time played is minimal. Even if you die 20 times a match you're likely to get an APEX suit before your 60k AUR of suits run out. 60k/$30 is an insanely high price. Nah, I would much rather buy the LP ones, better worth it. Had to stop going forge last battles because maps forbade it, unless situations arose like defending point and blasting a scout right in the face when he turns the corner. Busted out the GalAss Flexability fit; Breach AR + AScP with reps and damps, dmg and energizers, flux and REs. Went 15/10, pretty good test run, though the damps were nulled by the eye of saurons that match. Gonna keep testing out more fits to see just how flexable the Assault is. I got freakin scanned even when I was in a scout gk.0 with 3 complex damps, with damps V and GalScout V...it is getting ridiculously inconsistent nowadays. Though, I have been letting it go and just having fun with corpmates. REs are definitely hilarious, though i doubt any RE story could top Parkours, #comedygold. Kept REing the same sentinel for teabagging me. All in all it was a pretty good day.

Since I am always broke, hanging around 400k atm, my fits consist of basic (except my stuff that i bought in bulk a while ago). Toying around with the Scout G-1, seeing if i can time travel back to the good old beta with some beta fits and see if they can still be viable. Like that crazy Marauder fit, the omnipotent shotgun; the musturd fit, the ever flowing knives, etc. The MLT knives are still good.....if you have complex damage mods on them lol. And of , the MLT shotgun is OP for a mlt weapon, alongside my beloved MLT Forge that i love terrorizing entire teams with. Even keep trying to go back to my lovely sniper,... One day, i will see my lovely back to it's former glory...one day...
