Minmatar Assault still has an innate armor repair of 1 hp/s according to the fitting window and 'show info' window.
The Hack Speed bonuses don't appear in either window as well. While not a defect this is definitely a UI issue.

Amarr assault heat buildup reduction isn't applying to laser rifles and potentially scramblers, all laser rifle heat values seem to have been standardized (not sure if intended), ion pistol always overheats no matter how short its charged. |

Militia Gallente heavy has no repair
Somehow I managed to get my Gallente heavy armor repair to 6-7 without any repair modules, will try to reproduce
Scout frames are all broken
Ion pistol is broken, aside from it sucking, a partial charge seizes it.
Minmatar Assault still has 1 hp/s, if this is intended buff the Gallente armor repair.
Sometimes your grenades do not show and you cannot throw them
When I spawn in my Militia Gallente heavy it does not spawn at full shields or armor
For the Federation!

Sprint bug where you if you use the cloak and sprint quick enough, you'll sprint at walking speed. This has been here for a while, but it's really starting to get annoying with the new cloak. |

While it's not confirmed how we'll fix this, it's likely that you will get to keep the skills, but if the difference exceeds your current skill pool total the extra will be applied as negative skill points to your unallocated skill points. This means you will have to earn the difference before you start earning skill points as per normal. Not that you won't actually lose any skill points, you'll just have to earn up to your spent total before you can start allocating skill points into new skills again.

This is correct. Notice that this is a positive modifier, so now basic uplinks take 50% longer to spawn.

Proximity scanners only have a scan angle of 10-15...they should have 45 degrees.
Not sure if it is an issue with the new scanner mechanics or if it's the item itself.

Which dropsuits show the invalidString when you look at them? Also, are you using a localized client?

My 'Templar' Sentinel seems to have bugged armour reps?
I'm fitted with two Complex Armour Repairers (ISK - I've maxed the skill) yet I was only repping at 10/s.
I also suspect my 'Neo' Sentinel ak.0 was instagibbed by an MLT Large Railgun which dealt less damage than I had EHP, particularly considering Railgun's bugged damage profile - it dealt 1342 damage against my 1493 HP suit. It may be that I had taken shield damage, however - I'm not totally certain about this one.

Laser heat buildup values are the same across all tiers, which Im sure you did on purpose despite saying they would be changed to be greater apart from each other and we tried to tell you before the patch dropped that this was reflected in the SDE, but whatever. They all overheat at the same rate too of 60 rounds fired, so the heat limit was not changed either. Seriously, **** you CCP.

Yeah because being a Logi, you would need to be in a fair fight alone against a heavy. Losing the Armor rep per level is intended.
Despite the bugs, I can't wait to get home and play this.

here is a funny one: i guess all or at least just my Gallente Heavy Frame model (mine is Sentinel gk.0) apparently has holes in the helmet (somewhere at the ear-area of the head) - so you can look straight through the helmet (and see that there is no head under it).
if you wanna see it for yourselves - i guess MLT Gallente Heavy Frame should work as well, just tag it as favourite, respawn in the MQ, position it so that it's left side faces any bright wall (Store-Screen works) - and then position the 3rd person-cam so that you can see the right side of the suit
(might need to keep the cam moving untill it has the right angle to let you see through the holes on both sides in a straight line - the holes aren't small, easy to find (on the gk.0 Sentinel anyways - but surely it applies to all suits using this frame-model)).
so, i guess the "Headless-Gallente-Fatties" won't be fixable via hotfix - but please keep it in mind for 1.9 .
BTW - i think the spawn hitpoint-values gitch actually applies to skill-bonusses - and not just for hitpoints, my Scrambler Pistols always have the new base clip-size of 8 when the gitch is active and switch to the supposed 13 when the gitch is gone. |

+1 It doesn't seem right that given so long these kinds of mistakes have been made? As if checks weren't put in place whatsoever. It brings up the question of what exactly is everyone at CCP doing?

The rate of fire of my large missile launcher turret is STILL inconsistent and I STILL fall through the map when im in my tank when I bring up the overhead map whilst in some of the sockets. Also the redline is still a khunt. CCP please stop adding more junk to the game when you haven't fixed the current stuff.

Hit detection issues (sometimes doesn't even register on friendly units, giving the hit graphic) with CR, AR, NK, MD, HMG, SCR, SCP, and shotgun.
Heard from squad mates have stated the same issues with the RR, forge gun, and magsec.
It's not so bad if the game isn't lagging, but as soon as there's the slightest bit of noticeable lag, hit detection goes out the window.
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?

- Minmatar Basic Heavy Frame has a shield recharge rate of 8.5, should be 20
QA should have caught all of this. These aren't programming bugs, these are typos. Either you guys didn't show QA the same numbers you showed us, or the QA team was too incompetent to read them. Your designers obviously aren't on the same page as your programmers, and the people that should be checking this stuff are either in the dark as to what they're supposed to be doing, or are incapable of doing it. This is just sloppy.
You know, we did get the SDK ahead of time, and no one pointed a lot of this out. I noticed the dragonfly scout had 2 H 2 L on Protofits.com but thought it was a problem with proto fits. Not that it would've been fixed in time anyway.

another glitch is that when you target a heavy suit sometimes it comes up with invalid string ID followed by a bunch of numbers.
the shotgun hit detection is how it was when it was broken but it's inconsistent, sometimes it plays up and people do not take damage.
I was standing on top of a roof and it threw me off, there is some weird lag which throws you about sometimes. |

In 1.7 I shot duds out of my Forge Gun about once a week with heavy use. It would charge, I glanced down to confirm it was charged, I released the button, there was a sound and animation as if I fired, but my ammo count stayed the same and I did not fire.
On the first day of 1.8 I got 11 dud shots from my Forge Gun. That's just shy of a dozen. That's about as much in a day as I got in all of 1.7.

There are two issues I've encountered:
1) Audio drop out- At first i thought that whenever one is cloaked the sound becomes very slow and muffled as an effect however, I went through about 2 minutes without a cloak active and the sound had dropped
2) Sprinting while cloaked- sometimes when one sprints right after activating their cloak the sprint speed is very sluggish and then once they stop and re-sprint the speed goes back to normal. |

There doesn't seem to be any difference in recoil or dispersion for Gallente weapons (assault rifle, shotgun, ion pistol) when using a maxed out Gallente assault. Bonus doesn't work. The Amarr and Minmatar assault actually do work, but they don't kick in until the core skills do and you regain full HP.

Had some occorences when shield was about 5-28 where 1 second recharge took place

Uplinks that have the Amarr logistics bonus applied do not display the correct time on the spawn selection screen. Once you choose an affected uplink the correct time is displayed.

Dropship mechanics are broken in this patch. The slightest bump causes dropships to loose more than half if not all health points in shields and armor. The overall dropship feels like flying the egg shells from open beta.

Uh, maybe, but some of these bugs are pretty atrocious. We're not talking about obscure issues here. It's pretty clear that little to no QA was done on this patch when things like slot layouts were screwed up.
And it's the attitude that it's all okay that lets this persist. It's not okay. Someone either didn't give a **** or screwed up badly, and CCP should be embarrassed about the state of this patch.

+1 to Forge Gun misfiring. My Ishukone Assault FG wasn't able to get a single shot off in some cases.
+1 to Caldari Sentinel shield recharge delay being bugged:
If shields get taken out but no damage is taken right after -> 1 second recharge delay.
If shields get taken out and some damage is taken right after -> 4 second recharge delay.
The shields haven't started recharging yet as they are still at 0 but there's still a 4 second delay if some damage is taken after they go down. The only time the 1 second delay truly works as intended is if for example you get fluxed but no damage is taken right after the flux.

Ok here is what I encountered yesterday while playing.
In my very first match I killed a friendly (in a pub match) by running (I don't know exactly what happend I was running over an open field and all of a sudden I got -50 wp for killing a blue)
In one match I had serious hit detection problems with a rail rifle ( I fired a whole mag into a rooftop forge gunner but all what I get was blue shield flares)
Some of my squad mates reported HD issues with cloak enemies, I had this too but not very often so I don't know if this a general problem or linked with the cloak.
MagSec range profile seems wrong but I need to do further tests on this one...

When you say fix what exactly do you plan to do? For example: Amarr scout currently 4x but should be 8x I have it at level V do I get my SP back, does the difference get taken out of my unallacated, does the skill get set back to 3, do I get to keep level 5, am I boned regardless ?

The visual on the Caldari Heavy is scewed and looks incorrect.

I commented on a post about the 514MB before I downloaded it. The Devs said the download was 524MB. If you try a few 1024x1024 versus 1M multiplications it appears to be a M versus MB confusion. So I seriously doubt if anyone was trying for 514MB.
So my comment on the 514MB was correct for the stated download size but wrong based on the actual download size. Too weird not to be Dust.
On the localizations, you certainly seem to have a better idea than what was released.
And so it goes.

not sure what you mean with that CCP would force you to a localised client language, maybe i just misunderstand something there as english ain't my native language...
...but i am using the Dust514 that i've downloaded from the German PS-Store - but i am still playing it in the english version like i do with every other game due to simply setting the [System Language] in the PS3's XMB-Menue (under [System Settings]) to [English (United States)]. |

This only serves to confuse new players. Why would militia not be base spawn and then all uplinks would either be same as base 0% or negative. How is it sucky? Its a 4x not 8x so of course some form of fix was going to happen. also the terrain on manus peak is even more grabby now. My scout got stuck on the small hill next to c for a solid 30 secounds twice in one game. Whats more the sprint stopping glitch is happen more than it did in 1.7

Oh and Melee damage with Amarr commando is still 240, it was supposed to be lower. |

Agreed, but this isn't an defect but more of a UI improvement and should be posted elsewhere. The spawn time should be posted in seconds.

- Scanner works for less than a second. I tried it a couple of time and same issue.
- Spawning in you start out with ~10% damage to shields and armor.
- Something seams to be wrong with the explosives. I'm running a couple of test but this is what has happened so far. I'm not sure if it's blast radius or HP. I set 2 explosives like I usually do and set them off on the target when a red dot entered and nothing happened. I did this a couple of times during a match with the same issue. The next match I placed 3 charges and was only able to get 1 kill, but only when I was in visual range (on the Battle Status Map) of the explosives around 60 to 70 meters. I did see another post on this issue.

The non-deploying kick seems to be disabled. My squad took me into a match into which I never spawned but spent the entire match sorting out my fittings and I was never kicked. I got an end of match screen, complete with SP and isk rewards and a 0/0 score on the scoreboard (beating 2 and equalling 2 other blueberries! lol).

None taken. I thought the same thing (that's what I do), so I camped on it to see if that's what they were doing and didn't see any pre-explosions. I may have missed them :-0. I also placed one charge down on the ground and a couple up high on an opposite wall to cover this. Post #92 came across a similar issue with the remotes. I'm going to try a couple of test tonight to see if I can figure it out. |

caldari commando is a shield tanker, and repair nanohives works great with commandos. You just have to skill up weapon cpu/pg, electronics, and power grids skills.

Probably have all been mentioned but:
- Sound glitch when spawning in/supply depot changes. Sound effects from guns/explosions become muffled. Takes several changes at depot to correct it.
- HP glitch spawning in sometimes, health is depleted in both shield and armour, won't regen unless rep tool is used.
- Sprinting glitch, happened when I came out of cloak as a Gallente scout

I was climbing a ladder when killed and slid down to the ground in a standing position where I was still able to turn (but not move) and look around while dying.
Got resurrected while in the standing position and other than hearing the sound of the injector and having the screen brighten, it was otherwise impossible to tell. I have no idea what the person resurrecting me saw. |

That is the new scanner design. It takes an instant snapshot now. You cannot scan outside of that snapshot angle by turning.
On the bright side, you aren't a sitting duck for two seconds while you do a 360 spin.
On the other hand, the loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggg cooldown time means that you'd better scan something useful each time.

The ARN-18 Cloak Field appears to remain active for only 30 seconds rather than 60 seconds in some rare cases. This appears to happen whenever I swap fits via the Supply depot while cloaked. I don't know if this impacts the other tiers.

Almost every time I spawn in my Gallente Sentinel I am missing several hundred hitpoints from my shield and armour. The time for this to rectify itself varies wildly from 30 seconds to over a minute.
All of the Gallente Sentinel suits have the same colour scheme, Basic, Adv, Neo and Proto are all the same except for the colour of the "eyes" on the suits.
I have been getting stuck on various pieces of terrain, small ledges and other pieces of the environment. I got stuck walking by the "iron hedgehogs" that are on either side of the gates of the communications installation.
Scouts are now able to run and jump around and over my HMG fire. It took me almost a full magazine to kill a scout at less than 5m range because he was jumping and sprinting so fast I couldn't get any hits on him. Is this the way it is meant to be? |

The forge gun glitch seems to be an issue with all charged rail tech.
I got it with railguns in 1.7, but now I've started getting it from the Magsec too. I don't use Rail Rifles very often but I can think of occasions where this may have happened with them also.

Amarr dropped uplinks only intermittently work as intended.
I have also come across some uplinks once that showed up on the spawn map but were not selectable(which is really strange because I dropped them).

That's a pretty long list, these growing pains were easier to take in beta even if it meant constant wipes of sp to zero. The respec argument should be clearer than ever now. SP=time which translates to a real life value that is greater than $ spent on aur. The frustration that is flooding this forum is frustration over the feeling of wasting that time. This should be the highlight of the last two years instead it's a disaster. Sony will have ps2 on the ps4 soon how many will leave then because of this frustration? |

You can switch to weapon and fire before cloak fully turns off, which allows you to kill someone while still cloaked. This is especially bad with a shotgun since just one quick shot can kill, or almost kill.

I used protoswarms yesterday to test the vehicle damage WP. Surprisingly I did not get any WP for a whole salvo fromf my Swarms with all them hitting an unhardened Maddy I brought him down to maybe 15% health from 100% and did not get any rewards for it...
RE's on the other hand gave me WP (as long as they do not insta popp the HAV). To make my point clear as I recovered swarms weren't giving WPs I did some test with RE's. The first test was done with only two RE's and I get 75 +75 WP with the HAV beeing still alive. The next test was done with 3 RE's +flux and I get the usual 150 + 50??? So why in gods name are RE's counted separately when they don't destroy the Hav but as a whole when the Have Blow up???
There is something strange happening with vehicle WP reward from my experience . |

I don't know if this has been reported or not, but I believe the Amarr assault suit bonus is not being applied. I notice no difference between using a proto suit with the scrambler rifle and the bpo I used before I trained the suit to level 5. |

Ok when you activate the cloack your run slower. How, to fix.. just stop and then go again. No suit bomus is working. When you spawn you dont have full hp... find a deport or just live with it till they fix it. Heavys always get stuck due to un fat people friendly maps. Ccp you reaaly need to increase the heavy jump hight. Ion pistol broken. Forge broken, ccp knowa this stop posting it. Scouts have always been jumping over heavys wnd dodging hmgs. Cloack will allow a 1/2sec period were your still cloacked when you swap it out, if the player is quick enough then they may quivkly put clock on again they my seem like they were cloacked the whole time. Read the first page befor crying like a baby and spaming the forums Ccp if you make a wepon with a burn/poison effect dont release it till theres 0 bugs with it, we all know how bad that would be. Ccp hurry on dropsuit bonus fix asap. Love you all.

To Whom this may concern?On march 25.Ive gotten about 10mill skill points back out of my Dropsuits command. Now since CC P made a mistake in the sp system. I have to suffer a -1.'207'017 mill in my unallocated skill points and I don't think that's fair. they should not penalize me for their mistake.They should be able to give me my a another dropsuit command respect. Would CCp pls fix my character.And do me/us right? This is bull and alot pepole would agree with me.So I posted a picture of my -1.'207'929 mill skill points.I also dont now how or where to post this in the forums. At one point I stated that if a person was cloaked and jumped in motion the cloak would go away. When I test this out on myself it appears this is changed. I could've sworn that this was an issue the first hour after the patch. I don't think it's an issue anymore or I may have been mistaken. |

Since the update, when I spawn in, I'm already a little damaged on both armor and shields. It fixes itself moments later (usually), but until then the damage is real, not a display error. I've tested it. :/ Puts me at a disadvantage for the first 30 seconds or so of each spawn... unless it doesn't correct itself, in which case it is permanent for that life. |

Mass Drivers doesn't seem to be damaging vehicles despite even with a direct hit. They also don't seem to trigger enough damage to delay vehicle shield regen ( i've hit many dropships and LAV while they were in armor and not only not seem to be doing any damage but shield would regen even while im hitting them consistantly particularly against HAV and Dropships

As per the charge weapons issue:
Ion pistol glitches when firing continuously / when mag is empty - It overheats and goes into the seize animation at random times / when switching from one weapon to another.
For instance. I had 2 shots left in a mag, went to shoot an enemy just to lower shields to make it easier for my SMG to finish them off and it overheats and gets me killed as i can't switch weapons.
Also occurred when switching quickly from secondary weapon - I only fire 2 shots and it overheats and seizes

Also: on the OP the shield recharge rate bug for the Minmatar heavy is not crossed out, but on my fittings now I see that the rate is 20hp as it should be. I'm guessing it was hotfixed. If so that needs to be reflected in the OP.

I'm not reading 14 pages of a topic and 10 or so pages of topics to check for one minor detail. On 1.8's deployment my Minmatar heavy didn't have the 20hp/s regen, now it does. That's enough verification IMO to reach a conclusion. CCP could have always released the intended stats of the basic frames like they did the specialisations and avoid this dilemma.

Suggestion for CCP Logibro: consolidate the fixed issues to the top/bottom of your post under a new header and remove the scratch lines as they make it harder to read(both literally and in that it makes it tougher to find unfixed issues).

Just read in IRC that Rail Guns on Vehicles suffer the same problems as Forge Guns do (no rounds are fired).
And Rail Rifle and Scram Rifle seem to have a problem as well.
Looks like there's a general problem with charged weapons. Can somebody add that to the list?

Since 1.8 released, getting more soft-freezes, where the game stops rendering for 1-4 seconds, and not accepting input; during this time, the game seems to continue, as enemies can still kill me, and I can still splat-out from falling from heights.
Before 1.7 - practically non-existing for me. During 1.7 - only once per match, only in early matches in a session, and only during the first 30-or-so seconds (with MCC being non-usable in case of freezes while dropping) During 1.8 - much more frequent, happens at any time during the matches and in any match

Some thing I've observed.
- Weapons can lock up on you when rapidly switching rifles.
- I've never heard the sound effect for the activation or deactivation of a cloaked user when in cqc range.
- cloaked users sometimes appear completely invisible when sprinting except when they come within cqc range.

Is there perhaps a way to get an idea of when you will fix some of these? Really I only care about the "shield and armor not being fully there" and the "Forge gun not firing" problems.
I'm sure you guys are hard at work and it may be near impossible to give an ETA of the fix, but perhaps shed a little light on the problem to help ease my poor addled little mind? ~(._.~)

BUG-
When switching suits at a supply depot, sometimes it doesn't give you your full equipment.
Example- Logi Ak.O suit with 3 sets of uplinks switch to Logi Ak.O with same set up in HIGH/LOW/GUNS/Nades but 3 scanners instead only 1 scanner shows up on the suit
To remedy I have to switch to another suit.... templar... mini... gal.... and then back to the Logi Ak.O and then all the equipment shows up. After doing this I have also noticed the "underwater" sound effect for the rest of the game. Chat is clear as day but all in game sound is very muffled.
Have tried this in pubs and PC and the bug happens both places.
Everyone has a plan until you punch em in the face!

I have just obtained the C-1 scout and I applied a basic cloak and the fifteen percent bonus did not apply , now while fifteen percent isn't a lot .. some change in the usage should have registered and I noticed no change .
There should have been at least a slight reduction .
Leave all negative comments about tanks in the bin marked " TRASH " and we'll get to it as soon as possible . Thank You

When hacking an objective, press R2 to switch weapons, once the hack has completed you will be able to switch between your primary and secondary while cloaked and shoot a few shots while cloaked as well until the cloak duration timer ends.

Timer on the redline.
Had it kill me three times today. Once in my dropships. Exploded with 6 seconds left. Didn't know if it was the timer for sure so I tried it again and got the same result. Tried it on the ground as well. Had a suicide at 6 seconds left on the timer.
The timer is also inconsistent with when it stops the countdown. Sometimes I will be 200 meters or so out of it before the timer stops. The aerial aspect of the timer seems to confuse the countdown further.
We can pickle that.

Something is bugged about the amarr logi bonus. It either isn't applying properly or the tacnet isn't displaying the correct spawn times when you highlight the uplink. (or both)
Also, can a dev explain exactly how it's supposed to work? I can't really test it well unless I know how it's supposed to work.(i.e., when dying or switching suits what happens to the properties of the uplink?)

When I run around with uplinks the game glitches and makes me change weapons before I can use another uplink. It also will stop me sprinting so I have to crouch before I can sprint again. |

I Specced into this just for that bonus, only to notice right after that the sidearm reload speed bonus isn't present on the commando
I really hope this was just "forgotten" and not intentionally left out... because leaving that in the patch notes would be really decieving and I would have rather spent those skill points into something I will use....

Sniper rifle hit detection is worse than before 1.8. Shields will shimmer as if hit, but will not register any damage at all. Even if the target has been completely still, it is possible to shoot their heads 3 times and only do damage on the 4th. This is getting extremely frustrating. |

The dropsuit core upgrade skill bonuses for Armor, Shields and Hacking take around 1 minute to be "active" in-game when using Min. Scout. This happens to me every time I respawn and it takes a full minute to kick in every time.

Sometimes you suddently lose access to every equipments you have on a logi suit except one. It appears every 2-3 games for me and a friend.. Sometimes pressing L3 to run is doing something else like jumping, opening the map or the leaderboard (very awkward indeed) and it can even do absolutely anything. You basically cant run. |

The Fitting Optimization Skill of the three new sidearms (Bolt Pistol, Ion Pistol, and Magsec SMG) has a 2x multiplier and not the usual 6x multiplier. I doubt this was intentional. But I do not know if this is a display error and that it actually does require 6x SP to level up as I haven't unlocked the skill for any of the three. |

There is a reload glitch I've encountered numerous times and am still experiencing. When switching to primary weapon after de-cloaking and firing, at times, one is unable to reload. They have to fire a round AFTER trying to reload the FIRST TIME in order to get it to work. |

I don't know if it's the case in the english version, but in the french version all the proficiency skills (even the new weapons') say that the damage bonus is a flat one. I suppose it only affects the armour or shield in game like it should, but that should be tested and the skill tree should be corrected anyway |

Specifically the amazingly similar Forge Gun firing problems found in Rail Gun turrets (all large including installations) and Missile turrets (those have yet another issue with the number of missiles is unpredictable except the first volley after a reload).

Changing suits while cloaked, resulted in the cloak not being able to be engaged. Fixed by switching suits again. Was able to replicate the problem easily. Just engage cloak and switch suit at the supply depot while cloak is active. Happened every the I tired it.

Reloading Delay Bug on Gallente Commando Getting a reload delay on the lightweapons. Whenever i reload the animation completes of reloading but the ammo count keeps blinking red for a couple of seconds before the weapon can fire again. So you keep holding down the fire button even though the weapon is reloaded you have to wait till the red blinking stops. The bug doesnt occur all the time, sometimes after reloading animation is done the weapon fires right away, other time as mentioned you have to wait till te red blinking of the ammo counter stops.

I had issues with the cloak decloaking after activation when full. Related to switching suits at supply depot although I don't believe I was cloaked when I swapped. Had to swap suits to fix but changing suits didn't always work.

There is a problem with myofybril stimulants, I met a minmatar scout today who was dealing 491HP per melee hit. Even with all his high slots dedicated to those modules he shouldn't reach that amount of damage. 3 myofybril stimulants with max skills=183% extra damage (75+65+ 43) 120x2.83=339.6

I had the same doubts about the minmatar commando suit, but I tested my combat rifle on enemy vehicles (not HAV), and the bonus is applying. You should try on vehicles, look at the efficiency of your gun and the HP the vehicle lost. Your math is wrong. In Dust bonuses are not additive, but are multiplicative, so u have to do this instead: 110+ù1.75+ù1.65+ù1.43 = 454.20375

Haha, first complaint about myofibrils I've seen. But yes I believe the second calculation gives the correct melee damage. I think it comes out to 495 or something.
I for one love seeing brawlers running about knocking reds to the floor with melee mods. Cloak and melee Minmatar scout is legitimately brilliant! Although clearly less effective than shotguns and nova knives.
It saddens me that the Commando Melee bonus is being reduced from 240 to 150, I thought it was intentional to give Commandos a Falcon Punch!

However I do have some concerns with your comments. In Dust CCP/Shanghai used the standard Microsoft math library rounding down solution. And they do it at each calculation of the equation. So there is no rounding up on any value and the total rounded down resulting in, in my opinion, excessive reduction of bonus values.
For instance is you have three steps for the math in question A = 1.35, B = 2.7, C = 3.45 (totally made up numbers) the results one might expect when rounding would be A = 1, B = 3, C = 3, total = 7. In Dust they are A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, total = 6. This caused significant confusion earlier when trying to fill in the very limited information the minimal documentation provided.
Also EVE Online is multiplicative while all the Dust514 values I have verified personally are additive. In EVE your the 454 would be valid but down in the Dust it might not be true. Most likely there is a bonus that was missed by the first complainer. In particular because neither of the calculations produced the 491 in question.
I have never seen a Dev reply to fully explain any math question responding to Dust. I have been playing since the second weekend Dust of Closed Beta and originally some of the tank values appeared to mimic EVE. Then they didn't and it has produced many animated discussions. Rounding down and assuming additive results in accurate results ... for tanks.

If you use a tool that calculates stats multiplicatively like hydraSlav's' Dust Fitting tool and compare it to values displayed in game on fittings, you'll see that they match up pretty nicely.
Also you claim that "there is no rounding up on any value and the total rounded down" when thats not the case, dust doesn't always through away the tenths and hundreds places of values like the .35 in your example. Dust sometimes, but not always truncates values when it only accepts whole number values, and when its not truncating those values it rounds; the rounding for a lot of things follows (inconsistantly) rounding 5s down and 6s up.
Try playing with fitting optimization, Minmatar Assault with a CR, kincats, PG/CPU extenders, nanocircuitry, dropsuit core upgrades, dropsuit electronics, and dropsuit engineering. |

In my personal experience, Systems Hackings is also not applying properly on spawn in. From what I've heard from others, Amarr Assault isn't properly applying at spawn in (resulting in a ScR or LR that overheats faster than normal.)
If a solution to have a skill apply properly at spawn in is general and will fix all skills applying at spawn in, great. If a solution is specific to each skill, be aware that more skills than Dropsuit Armor / Shield Upgrades are effected.

A hotfix of the forge-gun (and other weapons affected by this bug) should be the priority because it is the only truly effective anti-tank weapon.
If this isn't done it created an imbalance in the gameplay.

Normally logis will lose that bonus, they said in the dev blog that the logi bonus shouldn't apply to cloak and if yo look at the list, the CPU/PG cost reduction for the logis is reported as a known bug |

Hey dude, I'm fairly sure this is more than just Shield/Armour skills not applying properly. I'm fairly sure this extends to other core skills as well - It also seems to affect scan precision and I'd then also guess dampening range and possible more skills
I've been out with a cal scout beginning of a match, waiting for my shield/armour to 'correct itself' with a few reds above me on a bridge - as my shields and armour correct themselves so it seems also does my scan precision - as the rest of the reds above me get lit up. |

Possible new bug caused from the recent cloak hotfix. Going to try to reproduce it later, but I suggest others try it, also try other suits.
1. Scout suit with Nanite injector and repair tool.
2. Went to supply depot and switched to similar scout suit but it has Cloak and Uplinks.
3. The game notified me that someone was requesting help, but I did not have the nanite injector.
4. Went to supply depot and switched to Starter fit, then switched to other scout suit with NO nanite injector. This seemed to fix the issue, which is what I did to fix the previous cloak bug before the hotfix.

The cloak bugs I know about are Logis getting bonuses for them (aka as in being able to use them) and weird working or not based on changing suits at a Supply Depot. And a sound issue or two.

Indeed, this bug has been around since at least 1.0, 14 May, 2013. There are few bugs with teeth as long as this one. Maybe some UI bugs but they show up less than this one.

Bolt pistol does no damage at all past its effective range. I've been told it's absolute range as listed in the SDE is -1. When I select a bolt pistol (any of them) in protofits, the absolute range shows as infinity.

The bug when a player completely dies (destroyed) the nano injector indicator to revive them stills shows up. As a logi this is very annoying. Many a times I run trying to save someone and when I get there there is no body (literally no, BODY) to be revived. Also, sometimes you try to revive someone and the game doesn't let you.
A second bug needing of a major fix is the caldari commando suit. That thing is so FUGLY it just has to be a bug. I don't use it myself but, just looking at it is offensive. At the very least change the color scheme. |

I'm 99.99% sure that these bugs are all from wrong values in a database, which means version control isn't really the problem. The problem is configuration management. Basically when they last fixed these problems someone whipped up a script to correct the values in production and then that script was never integrated into the standard build process. So then the next time someone makes a change and does what they're supposed to do they overwrite the previous fix with the "correct" values, as far as the deployment process is concerned.
The correct way to approach deployments in this kind of system is to have a set of scripts that can rebuild the static portion of your database from nothing, and a set of change scripts that do updates from the previous state (ie: update dropsuits set highslots = 1 where name = dragonfly). That change script gets put into a folder called 1.8, and then when you deploy you run a batch that executes every sql file in that folder. All this stuff gets stored in version control, so that at any point in time you can revert to any version configuration you've ever had.
Then as long as you follow the process of creating that file the guy doing the deployment can't screw it up. If something does go horribly wrong then they can go back and rebuild the whole thing from scratch with the correct values.
It isn't really something QA can catch if the configuration management is wonky. The values could be correct on their internal tests but wrong in production, and there isn't time to test every possible use case in the game during a deployment window. |

Not hating and god I know how difficult multitasking on current deployment builds and multiple people touching the same project in different iterations phases is and my god is GOOD QA expensive these days. However, I get the feeling that you guys have all the talented staff and steps, you just need an overhaul to your current development lifecycle process so every iteration no matter how small gets touched in a way that is consistent.
This doesn't feel like code issues. This feels like lack of management/poor management process/overtaxed devs issue.

yea ccp theres a bug were a certain map were you can put an up link down on domination and the hack the objective under the ground i have only ever to be able to do it once and iv seen other people do it about 4 times i dont know if its a bug or a glitch but you can fall through the ground when spawning and i found on some maps you can use this to an advantage in some cases you just keep falling untill you suicide or the game ends thank you exiled out |

Hi logi bro, something has changed that is making the dropships side guns kill its gunners. As you can imagine this is extremely frustrating for everyone involved (except maybe the guy getting shot at) this is happening in pubs.
I'll gather more info for you and probably post it in a topic and link it here (unless you would prefer it here)
I've noticed that it seems like the missiles are just detonating on the turret itself. Usually occurs when drifting to the gunners side while he fires. Eg, drifting right when right gunner is firing causes right gunner to explode and vomit suicide.
When preforming head on strafing runs gunners are very liable to explode and commit suicide.
If you could tell the manufacturer that these turrets are prone to explode and cause death I would really appreciate it |

Why shouldn't it? A cloak is an equipment item. The Logi bonus is for _all_ equipment. Why would this be an exception? The bonus is just 5% each level. The scouts are getting 15% bonus to the cloak. I think this is fair. |

Has the extended shields inside null cannons been mentioned yet. It seems the shield effect grew since 1.7 but has remained untouched, makes it very difficult to take out uplinks and other equipment or even players when there is blue shielding protecting everything. |

Making the dual-tank impervious to damage types dealt by the no tank creates an amarr-always-wins scenario, but on top of that leaving the armored to the teeth laser pew pewing death-marching heavy wstoreith 3 weapons and removing the only useful secial suit the no armor no shields trash bonuses broken roled nerfed speed nerfed damage slow hacking weak stabbing bad profile weak melee no-assassin-strike-left-in-the-im-very-generously-calling-this-a-game at the same time as having weapons filled out in the lp store for the super op god-commando and not for the broken as hell used-to-be-a-minja, there is a very broken thing here... And its called the Minmatar race.
And when, oh devs when will I be able to fit a rust bucket with a Gatling autocannon and rep my races vehicles?! Like seriously do y'all ever have an in-office poll like "does the direction this games going make any sense at all for an mmo representative of planetary battles in new eden?" Obviously not because instead of filling out vehicles you take them away and instead of adding modules you remove and simplify. Did nobody ever tell you you have a working system for vehicle based battle?! Why are there no Minmatar/Amarr vehicles/turrets? This was a good demo until things started getting removed instead of finished. And the sad thing is everybody agrees that this game is a once-great that has been balance-batted to the point of any leveling or other advancement by players being useless. I for one leveled into an assassin class that was very stealthy one-hit kill or if spotted one hit death. That has been removed from the game and my levels are wasted as I have ridiculous amounts of sp wrapped up in a character nobody with a brain would level into, and still I can't even drive around in my own races car, proper anti-vehicle means are not established (and this is really pathetic!) I mean to start with fix vehicle collision damage THIS IS NONCANON!!! IN NEW EDEN VEHICLES MUST NOT DEAL DAMAGE WHEN COLLIDING WITH EACH OTHER OR STRUCTURES its the first thing you even learn in eve so start there. Proceed along the military path and the quests teach you to fight vehicles in new eden tactically. Modules like ABs MWDs tackling target-painting etc should be incorporated. If all lavs are used for is getting to the letter before minjas and the instant answer to a drop ship or tank is spend the whole game in swarms/forge/another tank... I mean there's not tactics, there's no variation... Its a tech demo. It shows us you can make VG tanks. WE KNEW THAT! The players need an actual game. Give them a serious game and you'll make so much money. Fix racial parity. Make a market. Introduce OCCs. Fix battle finder. Allow us to explore the planet sides. And maybe someday let us encounter sleeper drones among the ruins. If you even start moving in this direction player morale will spike and old players will return and ppl like me will try to start bringing new players in again. But honestly, nobody here thinks this is ever going to be anything more than a chat app with a combat simulator demo built-in |

Most other times you won't have enough lag to experience that. Oceania's down and will it be Europe or Japan that's next to go? If you're on american servers switch to Asia but if you're getting this on Asia, look to the now-defunct Oceania server for answers. Guess who's server they went to? Yours. And the lag that they bring with them is a sign of the end-times as when servers start shutting down, games almost never make a comeback. Hope you had fun. Lots of test data was gathered and lots of promises/hearts/dreams/kittens were smashed to bits in the process, but if youre a hard masochist come back in a year or so to do the same thing all over on PC |

This. As of yesterday redline deaths still occur with 6-8 seconds on timer. |

Also this. Root cause(to make it easier to fix) sometimes gunners are ninja or other suits that can't withstand a missile. You line up a shot perfectly, ask your pilot to hold steady... And the instant you fire of course he jerks hard left making your missile bounce off the bay door. It *hurts* everyone, but 1.scout has put everyone that belongs in an assault suit now so squishy that those missiles now kill instead of maim. Overall, the turrets on drop ships are real jerky and this is I think the "correct" fix, but the real problem and solution are poor piloting and bad pilot to gunner communication |

Indeed, this bug has been around since at least 1.0, 14 May, 2013. There are few bugs with teeth as long as this one. Maybe some UI bugs but they show up less than this one. That database is actually where the SDE comes from, they extract the static data (SDE) and give it to us. Eve does it the same way, and gives it in a format that can be restored into a local database. I've done this for Eve, to run queries to figure out how many temperate planets there are in a region back when PC was about to be released and we were trying to work out how nullsec might work / guess at what region might come first. I took their file, imported it to sql server and then figured out how the data structures worked so I could write a query.
Because of how database files are formatted version control probably wouldn't be an option, though they could keep backups of every version once it has been verified as correct. The problem with that method is restoring an old backup blows away any non-static data in the system, whereas a batch file that runs a series of scripts can drop and recreate only the tables needed and leave your dynamic tables untouched.
