Boosters never work by doubling the SP pool. Instead you get bonus SP based on the type of booster. It applies outside of the SP pool. So if the pool is 571k, you will get an additional 571k in bonus SP with the 7-day omega active booster.

Let's make this happen, CCP - I'm getting NK proficiency to 5 and could totally use the extra 1PG if we had a NK Fitting Optimization skill. Besides, the CR tops out at 8 PG at proto and they have Fitting Optimization, so why not knives???
