Really wish it just put you in a squad in pubs and made you leave the squad if you wanted to be solo. You can leave the squad at any time (go solo or make your own squad) or you can play the round out and run with them again for another round. I can't remember being automatically put in a squad helping a lot when I first started (it was the norm then), but there was certainly a time when running solo did not mean being stomped. I would end up on a team with a squad that could take on the other teams squad, or at least end up with a team of mostly solo players that were good enough to hold their own against the other team. These were Ambush matches, and most of the "non-stompers" in Ambush are looking to make a buck. They aren't going to whip out the photon gear (and lose money) just because we grouped 'em together. Pretty much the only thing that'll stops that wrecking ball is an opposing wrecking ball. For now, at least. Fingers crossed.

The severs are bloody empty. All those 3 people were doing were running around on an empty map. I saw 4 deaths. More people are watching the streams than in the servers I think XD EU is "suppose" to be in 2-3 weeks, so probably a month and a couple days. The first day of the beta they only sent to "friends, family and people close to them" Anywho, yeah the reduced squad size would help. The auto group would just help the frustrating thing of losing horrible and looking at the team and seeing 0 people are grouped. I look at some blueberries as followers and more likely to follow a random green player than a random blue. Kinda like shinning a laser on the wall ya know XD TLDR : Last Dust Montage

I've got a couple of the suits already, but the ones I'm looking at are: Tiger Scout 99% sure that I want to get this one Minmatar Commando I have the Gallente Commando, but the Minmatar one looks like it could be fun as well. Caldari Logistics This one is just too shiney, it's almost on Quafe suit level for me. I'm half tempted to try to use it as a light skirmisher/support/hacker job. But other suits do that better and I honestly think I'm just trying to find a use for it. Thoughts? Anything else that I should consider getting that I'm not?

I've run squads with some of these people. I've run PC's with some others. Worrying about how what they're doing impacts the player base is irrelevant if they're having fun. And to a certain extent I see why they'd do it. What else is there to do? If you're not actively in PC right that moment or have nothing come up. You grind SP and ISK... for what? So you can pretend you don't have it? This is literally all there is to do. You get stomped so you can rise up and stomp. The game is built around there being a meta game but there simply isn't one. So the meta game becomes to stomp as best you can. I can't remember the name but there was a senior member of a well known PC corp back in the day who explicitly stated as their goal that they wanted to drive away as many players as they can. We moderate forums to prevent the place becoming even worse of a trash heap, but the game mechanics are built in such a way that it rewards the worst thing possible. To damn near any other game, the very idea that it's even possible to have the kind of insanely one sides matches we see regularly, would be absurd. If we actually got what was advertised (a market place, some PvE, some real interaction with EVE) then we wouldn't be having this discussion. We'd instead be complaining that the robotic defences of the space station we're trying to take over are OP. Oh well, in the future hopefully somebody will do a better job with a similar concept. We'll bang, OK?
