Yeah I did see it, it was the reason I kept running even though literally just ran by a laggy min assault. I take care of it at like 5 something in the game with an re of my own.
The things don't show up when you ads on em. I have no clue if that re was basic, adv, proto because I don't recall the enemy getting a kill with them during the game. But I mean I looked at it within a few feet and then ran over it then looked at it again from a different angle. No clue what the scan profile is of remotes, I don't run precision mods on my suit.

Personal preference I like it the way it is obviously. The things are easy to see on the ground, easy to hear when they are tossed (unless tossed from up high, wouldn't mind some kinda height limit or distance traveled limitation. the distance thing could screw with killing tanks though) and easy to destroy.

1 thing I don't really dig is standing up high (top of building, pipes) and dropping down water balloons on top of people. Is there some kinda way of limiting that I wonder. Yes I have done it, but I'd rather not being able to. There is zero danger to it.

When leveling up my MinScout, I ran a Cmp KinCat with Std CardReg and as much shield as I could squeeze on. If I could have fit it, I would've run two KinCats. For equipment, I went with an A-19 Active Scanner. For weaponry, Std CR and Adv NKs. I'd recommend swapping out for a separate "hack fit" with two code breakers.

Quafe Enhanced Codebreaker Enhanced Kin ZN Knives Flaylock (Breach is the most economical and badassGÇª but really I don't recommend most people use it without reload maxed out) RE Breach RE Flux You can put shields (whatever you can fit) or precision, or damage mods in the other slots. I run Damage mods I also have maxed out fitting ability on my minjaGÇª so you may need to tweak for fittings. MOAR Ladders

What if the REs exploded if they traveled so far in the air, like MDs seem to if you try to shoot them too far. I don't know if that is even possible without the quirks of Re "range" and being able to blow them from hundreds of meters away. @ Tritus If you are running what you are, you may want to avoid engagements entirely, and consider throwing on some damps and a scanner. You should be focused on not dying, and use those scans to identify areas that have lots of activity, and stick with hacking undefended areas. I think that Enhanced Extenders are the best bang for your buck in terms of HP, ISK, and fitting cost. Its kind of hard to run too cheap a fit, because then you become ineffective. I found that my sweet spots in the past involved ZNs so I could get kills outside of heavies, and damps to stay off radars. Once you get your Minmatar to level 5, I found that the passive hacking bonus was enough to do some good damage to objectives and installations without having to throw on codebreakers and sacrifice dampening and fitting costs. Do consider Flaylock, they are excellent for taking out shotgun scouts, and EQ which can net you those WP. Lastly, don't be afraid to leave some of your module slots blank and splurge on a good module. Some MLT items may not be worth fitting if they aren't strong enough to be effective, like shields. Mostly just play around with suggestions until you find what fits your play style. Thunderbolt. verb and noun. "James thunderbolted in his pants." Stay away from areas that have multiple opponents whilst hacking. Or try and hack under the radar while the fight goes on. Works best with CRUs and installations. Thunderbolt. verb and noun. The main problem I see with this idea now is CCP's lazy Ness when it comes to coding now dammage is dammage so if this was to happen then say you throw down an up link then an re on top (a good fun trap for all Iinvolved ) and say a red berry shoots it in close proximity with your idea because of lazy coding there would be no blast radius and the fun trap would be pointless . The coding for fizzle is already in place; they could apply that coding to high altitude drops or a velocity threshold (if velocity is a tracked measurement).
