In fact, I'm doing great! I love knives!

The new cloak delay doesn't really bother me at all. It feels clunky at first, but I got used to it very quickly.

Mostly because of HP buffs making the shotgun less effective-despite the number of kills people get with it simply by grace of the forced CQC and people whining that medium range weapons are less effective within 4m than a weapon that does under 80 damage that 10m So very tired

I've done well running solo quite a number of matches using this fit: PW: Ishnoks SW: ACR (or) Bolt Pistol HS: Shield Extenders LS: Complex Damp, Complex Kincats GR: Flux EQ: Cloak, Active Scanner I generally run a wide flank around the enemy position, scanning regularly. Active Scanner returns remain visible after you cloak, which helps to mitigate cloakblind's effect. You'll eventually find a break in the enemy line. Move in. Spot the nearest straggler with your active scanner; as you approach your mark, keep an eye on minimap orientation of nearby hostiles (if you're spotted, they'll almost always turn toward you and watch). If no one is onto you, stalk and shank. If someone's onto you, forget the mark for now and lure that someone. Try not to draw out more than two; retreat if you do. If 1 or 2 give chase, spider time. I'd say 1/4 of my knife kills involve me "running away" from someone :-) I've posted some really good numbers post 1.9 with this fit and these tactics. If you become too much of a threat, they'll eventually pull out the AM Scouts and GA Logis. At which point, I pull out my sniper rifle or a double damp'd GA Scout (depending upon the map). Good thing about Ambush is that the matches are over with quickly, so you can generally terrorize an enemy for half a match before they pull out counter-recon. PS: 2 KinCats on a MinScout is fun and fast. Like Musturd once said ... "You might see me, but you then you gotta catch me."

Gal and Cal scout. Cal seems to be doing pretty well also. The min assault thing I've noticed, min assault seems to be the new scout. Probably with the abundance of anti armour weapons (HMG/CR) Shield tanking may become more viable now at assault HP levels. We'll bang, OK?

The problem is that on a Cal Scout, you can dampen with less sacrifice than you would on a Minja. That gives you more room to add some shields. I switched to a CR from a ScP to better deal with shotgun scouts, but I might switch to the Breach ScP. Still probably waiting until balancing gets fixed.
