Though if you accidentally over-heat it you're pretty screwed. One shotting people (one bursting?) with it is nothing new. If they've balanced over heat well it could be good. Watch heavies carefully for the over heat animation, you have enough time to melee them to death (10 sec I think?). I once overheated on the last round in the clip while supressing a hall way. So embarrassing, squadmates thought I was lying when I was still going through the whole process ages later. We'll bang, OK?

Using an ADV Mini Scout: Can still snipe ok 9/0 and longest hit yet 551.42m with a Proto Tactical. Couldn't actually see the redberry nor did it show on my scope but I knew he was hacking the objective on the bridge. Apart from that mainly counter sniped and assists. Had fun with knives like dropping from a gantry onto a cloaked scout and ripping him to shreds with a pair of charged Ish... Always love killing and somewhat being killed by scouts with knives. Last game went 7/3 with proto knives longest hit 3.something? How is that possible I thought knives could only fillet upto 2.5m now? Managed a few double kills at close quarters. This was on the open map that reminds me of a rocket gantry in the centre and five active objectives. Was hack and slash with a min with 2 basic KinCats, outfit with mainly eWar and a shield in the upper slots. Sprinted into Bravo hacked it and realized Alpha was being hacked, jumped down and hid behind a turret whilst three tangoes waltzed by. If I had a shotgun I would have been tempted. Waited it out, ran around the back line and saw an enemy aiming at the sky. Thought he was a drone so I knifed him as he looked at the sky and then his dropship almost crushed me. Hacked it and was immediately engaged by swarms. Managed to pirouette it and nose up jumped out of the flaming wreck onto a building and then jumped off and proceeded to Echo where I met up with two more scouts and we hacked it in about 2 flat. Game was close, fun and plenty of other great moments. Main thing is that knives and breach shotguns have taught me great patience in the game whilst hacking is more about hit and run. My take on 514: Five Empires, One Dead, Four Alive

I find myself using those much more often than I was previously, with much greater success. Also, I can use std knives now too. I used to have to use a standard SMG on my uplink fits for fitting reasons, and I always felt naked in CQC with it. We got taken down and I had to jump out, I ended up stranded out in the open in my Heavy suit, I start legging it to the nearest compound when I notice the sound of an ADS nearby and the ground lighting up. It's the rail incubus, he comes in at head height and tries to cut me off. So I duck and weave preventing him from landing a shot. The pilot then parks up and gets out in their own heavy suit with HMG. Oh so you want a heavy off? After I killed him I then took his ADS, flew for a little bit but it's been so long since I flew (5 months at least) I was all over the place, couldn't hit **** and eventually lost a fight with another enemy ADS. Oh well. Twas fun never the less. We'll bang, OK?
