Well about a year ago I bought one of the $100 packs and sat on the aurum. Back in 1.7 I was really enjoying things and capping every week.
So I stocked up in the sale when boosters were half price and got actives cus you get more bang for your buck.
And then FF etc etc. I found I couldn't even be bothered to AFK out the rest of the booster I put on for FF weekend.
Should have got passives.

Okay, my two favorite suits in Charlie so far.
My PRO Min Assault
My PRO Min Scout
I love it. Running around at 9.35 m/s while being invisible to all but focused scans, dealing MASSIVE damage with SMG and Nova Knives (My Signature fit from pre 1.7) and laughing as I take people down with less than 300 total HP.
I'm a Fragile Speedster that hits far above his weight class and I LOVE IT.
That SMG tears through people  511 base DPS. 30 Damage a bullet. 2455 damage per clip. Enough for any heavy.
If I put a Cala's on it? 581 base DPS and deals 35 damage a bullet. DPS vs. Armor is 640.
Oh my god I'm in love. It's a hit and run wet dream.

no. Nothing Scans 2x Damp + active cloak. regardless of suits. Only difference is Gal and Cal don't need the cloak to evade Amarr Scouts.

I'm okay with this. For crying out loud, I only have 280 something HP.
That means it costs a total of 149 CPU and 18 PG (Which also costs 2 Low slots and an Equip) to Dodge scans.
That's just about 1/4th of all Scout suits CPU and PG (Roughly). Not a bad price to pay. Not enough to gimp the suit, but not so little as to let us fit willy nilly. Especially since armor is the worst offender of Brick Tanking, and both scouts only have 2 slots to tank. If they go full armor, they also lack regen.

Oh my god FW.
Was running Min FW for a good while tonight. You get around 1.4k LP per win.
Been stomping people for the Minmatar. Totally worth it. Competitive? Only if you get a decent team. We still get scrub teams every now and then.
Give it time.
