I played since the announcement, I think it will be awhile before CCP gets Legion together and I can still have fun for now. Long term goals have somewhat gone off track.
Different matches though, you run into less scouts... it's a different meta. Also encounter a few people burning through Officer gear.
I did manage to get one NK kill on mustard  on my Minja, which is actually accomplishing one of my long term goals. Sadly it was one of only two kills in the match for me. Mustard was a slashfest however. I love seeing him work

I saw that, but I have a feeling we won't hear much more than we have heard already.
I think there will be a larger statement by Walder Frey, I mean CCP Rouge in the next week, but unless something concrete has been decided at CCP HQ, I think it will be awhile before we get definitive answers.

I could go Legion if i want to (depending on specs, and even then i could make things work) but I have no reason to. Even if they transfer enough stuff to make it "worth while" I don;t trust the info they put out. Legion info and PR looks good, but i still remember what my DUST Beta and Beta promises looked like and that never really happened. What reason is their to believe Legion would be different?

I see your concern, sometimes I wonder if my optimism is mere naivety.
News(ish):
Doubtful that they would be comfortable with the state of the game before release. (probably won't look at a Ps4 port until then)

I would say if you really want to play this game then definitely look into getting a mid range gaming PC
If it comes to PS4 that will be a bonus. It will never come to a MS console unless MS buy the IP. MS wouldnt put up with how CCP works with relation to game issues and content.

We know it is a constellation of failure.
What is also important is that CCP knows they screwed up. and they do know. There will be talks.
If this inciident did anything is that likely gave the CPM vadility; after all we did warn them.
Explinations will have to wait a bit but must get out to you guys and I and the other CPM are working hard as possible for them.

Laptops where the most common folks that got screwed over the most though.
For example my own laptop of nearly 10 years cannot play eve anymore and I know people who had laptops as primary devices and what is even more upsetting is the inability to install eve on capable mobiles because most of those mobiles are tablets; and not laptops.
So tower or get out apperantly...

We cant get that new content we like in the current envelope, add it anyway because - your machine now runs the client sluggish, screw you, upgrade.
We have issues with bugs - get to it whenever
We want to put out this content now and cant be bothered rigorously testing it - no need, just put it out
When you develop for a console your power envelope is fixed so you have to constantly learn new tricks to do more with the same resources. You have to do that or wait for updates in the engine to give you some of these capabilities.
Bungie, Turn 10, Bioware, Naughty Dog etc do this daily.
CCP struggled with this and have decided to go back to the easier domain where they call all the shots.
- Now why they waited so long to make a decision when others here have begged them to move(PS4 or PC) falls squarely on the leadership of the company. Why they hid the development and blatantly led their customers on is unconscionable
Given what they have shown ability-wise, I have to say this is the better move. I say this as someone who doesnt have a gaming PC or plays EVE. Stick to what you do best, especially if you arent going to work with a company that can lend you FPS and console experience.
For the people that want to continue - invest in a solid PC and dont believe anything this company says. Dont donate to support them if you are holding out hope they will deliver. Make them deliver first and then purchase the stuff that you want or enjoy.
