Been running this on my main out of boredom and for TROLOLOLOL factor. It is quite funny and surprisingly effective. Sprints at 7 m/s and has 1022 eHP.

Original Bastards is more of a reference to the community that was built through this thread, rather than the concept of original scouts.

That's not what the list was originally for.
In the beginning, it was used to track stats, in an effort to show CCP the issues with scouts. Shotty couldn't find each and every person that was a scout at the time, so he got who he could and the rest signed up at the start of the thread and he began stat tracking.
Eventually, he gave up, committed forum suicide and left the list hanging. Now no one gets added or removed, because the purpose of doing that is long gone.
If you just want to have your name on a list, then this isn't and never was the place for you.

We have some amazing mad-bombers here.
Seeing Jolly on the other side, I preemptively rage at him.
I find the tactic a complete exploit of the game's poor design and REs should not be used like grenades. But it doesn't take away the skill needed to dodge and weave in and out between enemies to get into position to get those kills. I've been in a Scout-Squad when guys have been getting 4+ kills with a single RE and am impressed. The only time I can get that many kills is in PC when I use 3/4 REs to lay down a trap.

Who are you? Let's set this straight. You had plenty of time to register yourself (as noob also stated) as a scout prior to it being closed if you actually have been scouting since beta. Just because you didn't do it doesn't mean we should take pitty on you and add you to the now closed registry. (Emphasis on the word closed)

Yeah man, who rocks the proto scout with militia weapons? It's not like the Gk.0 is tight on fittings or anything.... and if you've invested ~2.5M SP to get the Tux, you can afford the, what 200k to get a ADV shotty (at least!)?

To the credit of the guy asking to be on the list.... it was kind of hard to find for the first six months of it's life. it only had like 200 pages, was in GD and on the front page basically every day.

Held C by myself for as long as I could, but it was in the enemy territory.
Amarr Scout kept coming at me with a SG
All i had was NK and a Flaylock, we killed each other a few times then the rest of the Amarr showed up. I pulled back to the main line.

Please stop referring to this problem as the sprint bug. This link is to discussing the problem of stun-locking. The "physical force" of a weapon that is only supposed to cause the rag-doll effect upon death is causing players to slow down after every bullet hits.
The sprint-bug is the one that broke mollerz' controller. Where you go and try to sprint only to find the animation starts but your speed does not increase.
