Can't very well call Nova Knives "Nova Knives" in a game named NOVA. That'd be like calling 'em DUST Knives. Would look and sound silly.

Nice to see scouts, cloaks, shotguns and radar are in the demo. What do you think of double jumping? Sounds fun.
By the way, if you look closely at the footage you'll see the shotgun is the "nova shotgun". I guess that means we can have nova knives too? |

Sounds fun! Can't comment on it until I've seen more of it. Overall, the demo looked great. Very happy to see those Scouts fit with high-risk / high-reward loadouts. Sniper Rifle handling/design looked like it'd been improved 1000%. The Shotgun was beautiful. Spotted lots of changes to the minimap. Periodic pulse. Directional arrows. Outlines of walls. Neat stuff. Can't wait to learn more.
OEK pointed out that specialization would be earned via usage. Love it. |

No way to tell how it feels outside of playing it, but it sounds like they are getting positive reviews.
Double jumps are fine I guess. They neither intrigue nor frustrate.
I think what I will be most curious about will be EWAR (outside of aformentioned knives).

Sounds great. Though I don't see the point of a scan range circle if there's a precision curve. A precision curve means the distance from which someone is scannable is variable, so how can there be a definitive scan range? Unless there's something we don't know about I'd recommend ditching the scan range circle. It might be just a reference point for average detection range, but I think it's just going to confuse people when they get blips outside the circle, or don't get them from enemies inside. |

Perhaps the scan precision varies within the circle depending on distance, but there is simply no scanning outside the circle.
