I never come here and never ask for help. I am a sniper purist and always have been. I am on the front page but I know as well as everyone that doesn't mean anything. I, for the most part have hated the scout mentality and was against the buffs to ewar we had that made us godly and cut ties to to everyone at that point. I am a sniper and only ever wanted to be relevant and was from 1.3 to 1.6.

Now in general I have breakin stuff trying to derail my topic. I don't expect much of a response from you all as I have turned my back on you all. I have turned my back on corporations, and playing PC due to the shortcomings of sniping. I wish and hope for a day when I can get 1000wps and contribute. Well whatever, just ignore my post link and seal my fate already.

Does the Krins Damage Mod have a stacking penalty? The description doesn't say it does. If so does it have a penalty only when stacked with other Krins or when stacked with any damage module?

Also, if I have two light weapon damage mods and one sidearm damage mod, is the sidearm mod affected by a stacking penalty? Thanks!

Hello, this is GM Archduke.

Thank you for contacting the DUST 514 Customer Support Team. The KrinGÇÖs LEX -71 Damage Modifier should not have a stacking penalty with any damage modules. Also, stacking penalty should also apply to modules that are giving bonuses to the same attribute - in your example, two light damage mods would result in a slight stacking penalty on your light weapon damage bonus, but the sidearm damage mod should not be affected by this, and should give you the full bonus. Please note however, that there is a known display issue with the modified damage in the fitting window, and these numbers are unfortunately not displayed correctly at the moment. We're actively working on resolving this issue, and hope we can do so as soon as possible.

I was too until I played Dust.

Here's my old BF3 stats, I pretty much only played Recon with DMR's and Bolt actions.

I came here to Dust and was appalled by the sniper action here. It has bad hit detection, horrible application, and nowhere near enough power until proto (Against anything but idiots. Thankfully, headshot damage is through the freaking roof and MLT sniper can easily OHK people with a headshot).

So I stopped. I only do it for fun now in my Calmando (And love every last hatemail for it), but you have to be god-tier sniper to not be considered a waste of a player spot.
