I actually kinda liked 1.7.
Everyone would use ADV quantum scanners and if you damped under that very few people ever noticed you. Hell, at times I ran right under people's noses without them seeming to notice.
Post-1.8, people became a lot more paranoid.
Of course, for a time that was offset by a sort of scout golden age.

Hearing that. I've quit 5 or so battles in the last ten days due to proto jumpers. I'm not sure I've quit more than 2 before that since I started playing in Feb 2013.
Even after the guys in another thread gave out advice about how to counter it, it didn't work so good last night. Just can't stand that BS mechanic, it's the single thing that makes me rage about this game lol (and even then it's only light rage :-p )
