As for my return to FW to reinvigorate my LP fund in preparation to obtain the Gallente APEX scout suit. Man, I got ROFL stomped there! STOMPED INTO THE GROUND! The AE team and their south american death squad buddies took us to task.
My Gallente team disbanded on like the 3rd battle with them. We could not stand against the tactics, teamwork and high end gear.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day! |

It could have a diffent title for starters. For example "kill s#it , win matches"
I fail to see how that's different from just playing dust for 10 days.
I mean it's not that hard to make an event that doesn't include killing and winning matches.
Logi event? heal stuff, pick up dudes, get spawn wp
Scout event? hack stuff, scan stuff, destroy equipment
Vehicle event? get transport assists, vehicle kill assists, mCRU points
I mean there's so much activities CCP could incentivize, but again they choose to incentivize KD/R padding and q-syncing..

I've honestly never created an event for a game before. I do remember someone asking for a very personalized event in GD not long ago. More in a short span, we have a event. While not the Personalized one asked in GD an event non the less. Also remember talk of low hanging fruit when it came to what people wanted, events will be no different.
When you personalize the event so much the interest in actually doing it fades.

When it comes down to it:
Anyone can do the stuff in the event.
Kill, earn wp, win
Get aurum, sp, free skin
Broad strokes events will get the most participants.
Is it the best event?
Nope, will always be room for improvement.

Because we don't already get a load of STD stuff in the EoM salvage 
Say we get another Shinobi Event. Plenty of people would be able to compete due to all the 'Neo' Scouts, Federal Defense Union, etc that we get from it.

PC was so close to being great. The only things missing IMO are:
- Proper raids, que up 30mins from attack time during window around district timer.
- A district maintenance CP cost, say 1000 CP per district per day (to actually limit the number of districts a corp can hold)
- Gradual reduction to Corporations CP each day, say 500 CP (to prevent saving up in tons of alt corps)
- Exponential CP cost to change district timers by each additional hour (way to cheap currently to make 03 timers 13)
- A limit so that you can only attack a district from a district that is within x hours window of that district. (so 13:00 timers can't attack 03).
