Shared Passives were supposed to be disabled in Uprising 1.4. The coder tasked with the job turned off shared LoS scans but left shared passive scans intact. The changes haven't been revisited since; today, Passive scan results are shared squad-wide, and LoS scan results are not.

Anyone willing to test LoS Scans? The expectation is that when you pick up a hostile on passives, his TacNet marker will illuminate on your and your squadmates' HUD. If you then establish line-of-sight, that TacNet marker will grow brighter (thx, Kaeru). If a target is beyond your passive scan range and you establish line-of-sight, his TacNet marker will illuminate on your HUD, but not on the HUD of your squadmates.

Eh I dunno, I seriously doubt Rattati has any intentions of making the Minmatar scout any less mobile, based on the things he's said in the past. When he first announced the Myofib change he specifically singled out wanting the minscout to be the most mobile, so he obviously knows how important mobility is to it. And the tone of his post in that thread was a general "Yeah speed:HP ratios are a little messed up, I want to fix them" and nothing specific. Also the thread was mostly focused on the disparity of other suits in the Minmatar race. Considering minnie scout is underperforming and all the others are apparently overperforming I don't think it's in any danger.  If I thought minscouts were in danger of losing their speed I would among the first to raise hell about it

Jesper Kyd is great. Not my favorite but he's talented for sure. I particularly like his work on AC2's soundtrack

Yes! Listen to this man. OCRemix is straight up one of the best artistic organizations out there, period. Not for profit, super friendly, and dedicated from top to bottom to preserving and encouraging the production of game music. I was listening to a song on OCR when I read this post

The Amarr Scout need a buff, big time. I wish the AmScout still had the Uplink bonus, it makes more sense than the Logi to me. We are the stealth class, the sneaky bastards that infiltrate the enemy base and help reinforcements get in easier. Gather intel and relay. And of course be the bastards we are. I don't see the Amarr helping reinforcements with that uplink bonus gone.

I think adjusting the speed/HP ratio of assaults and giving Skirt Scouts a biotics bonus would be enough.
If not it could be fine tuned from there.

Biotics bonus on Amarr scouts would be awesome.
It's worth noting that, according to Ratatti's data, Min scouts have the second worse kdr after Min logis, out of all proto suits (discounting basic frames). They shouldn't be nerfed. |

After about a month off playing, I am trying some things out and bloody rusty. Anyway now they made PG mods high, I can actually fit some equipment on my double-kincat Minja. So since I am still pretty ****, I decided to try out the cloak, as I've seen Kaeru use it to good effect, and I need to be able to mix Minja styles up and have some variety.
So here's my best game so far, bumping my disgustingly bad 0.66 KDR from around 10 games in almost back up to 1 LOL.

The first match was exciting. It was on the 3-in 2-out map. I did fairly well, coming 6th place, if my memory serves well, going 16/7. I stabbed one Sentinel AK.0 multiple times. 
The second match was also very fun. I went 8/3 and came in the top ten. It could have been 7th place, 3rd place, 5th place; I genuinely can't remember.  I was learning more and more from each match, and I was making the right moves more often. Unfortunately though, I accidentally teamkilled David WD by stabbing him. I had meant to switch to my Cloak and activate it, but a pang of lag hit and I ended up just slashing my Knives instead. I felt so embarrassed, particularly because it looked like I had just teamkilled him for absolutely no reason.  I apologised afterward to him and the entire team, and reimbursed David.
The third match was my best, and I came 2nd place going 9/1. I managed to take vengeance on Diablo Gamekeeper TWICE, who managed to kill me the match before when I had messed up a stab attempt and ended up teleporting infront of him. 
There were several big names in those matches, so I was very pleased to have done well. 
Tomorrow though will be a very important day: it marks the end of my Minja marathon. Then, I will respec out of this God-forsaken rubbish suit.

Yes they are, compared to when I ran them 24/7 (and I mean I had no life and played all day) during before 1.3 and now, scouts lost what makes a scout. I missed all the updates up to Echo from 1.3. So I notice how bad scouts are now. Not saying they completely suck, but they lost some of their niche. Which is why we don't have many "good" scouts like we did back in the day. |

You're not too bad considering the time you took off.
Just a couple things I noticed:
1. Improve your brightness setting! At times, it was so dark that I couldn't see anything. That might just be the video though...
2. If you're just peeking around a corner and NOT trying to engage, activate your Cloak. You'll be less likely to be spotted if someone's just glancing your way, especially from a distance.

Those 2 definetaly new FoTM....i feel dirty using my ak.0 so i put a duvolle AR on it.

Heheh, I kinda want to try out the Cal Assault too. I have 4.4M SP unallocated, so I could take it straight to Proto if I wanted to.
And, when you say 'worse', do you mean worse as in performance-wise or worse as in more FoTM?

I mean worse as in FoTM.....when the assault Scr was buffed i saw alot more ak.0's on the field.
