I have to disagree with this. The current state is making the game really unenjoyable. If you release code and it's not working well, then can't patch it properly in a resinanle time frame (1/2 days max) then roll it back. Work on the kinks and deploy later when you believe it's fixed. Rinse and repeat. What you shouldn't do is just leave a busted piece of code out causing grief to your player base.

I can see reason in that. I also find the FW event timing questionable. Players are complaining about low headcouts and long waits ... so let's exacerbate those issues with a FW event? Srsly?

That does stink. How the heck are you only Loyalty Rank 2? You've been here forever!
Anyhow, there is a good reason for the restriction. Newbros get a free booster, so a newbro farmer could effectively produce unlimited boosters. Unsavory characters would be able to redeem unlimited newsletter items. An alt farmer could generate a disproportionately large number of experimental weapons. Keys for winning a daily mission could be freely and easily produced. And so on.
Some restriction had to be put into place to prevent exploitation, and this one's as good as any other. But we should try to find a way to make sure that legitimate players like you aren't being left out. I would say, find a way to work the Forums into the equation, but that'd be too easy to exploit. Maybe let everyone's first few million WP somehow influence Loyalty Rank?

On a related note, looks like my 2nd and 3rd characters on my primary account have a Loyalty Rank similar to that of my main. I expect that folks will be farming experimental weapons, barge components and golden keys from second and third memes for transfer to their main.
At least the extent of farming will be limited.
