If you'll entertain a silly analogy for a moment, compare it to politics. Politicians are almost never well-liked, but nobody in their right minds would simply say "**** it, get em out of here" just for that reason. They may not always do their jobs well, they may even do them poorly, but something is almost always better than nothing.

And to assume that Rattati does all he does on his own is short-sighted. He's even gone on record saying that he is extremely glad that the CPM exists and that it's been a great help to him. Would you deprive the president of his cabinet? Blink

It's not particularly better than my valor suit with BPOs equipped. Even though the Valor is a basic scout, and the APEX is supposedly a "proto" suit. And when I fit my valor with a few complex modules it is WAY BETTER than the alleged proto APEX BPO. Ugghhh..

I've been running a cloaked Adv Min scout with 3x Myo's for jumpy good times. It was a Domination match, with the enemy in control of the point, so I was playing a harassing game with their snipers and I fought for control over the supply depot. It got to the point where a team of 2 would provide cover for a third to hack back the supply depot after I hacked it. I made it a challenge to see how many times I could kill the hackers and get away with it. My rule was that I had to melee the hacker, shooting was too easy. I actually did pretty good, I got away with a bunch of kills and they provided a good challenge, and they got me a number of times (blasted heavy!) Exchanged GG mails afterwards, good times!

There are some maps in Domination that I almost exclusively run Logi. Granted, 99% of the time I go back to running a scout suit on most maps, but having an entirely different style of play to go to every now and then is a good mix. Or if you know the enemy team is heavy into scanners and scout hunters, you might want to have Gal Scout leveled up a bit. I only have Cal scouts to lvl 3, so I don't know how well they work as anti-scout hunters. And try out Myofibs.... There's nothing like bringing a fist to a knife fight and winning ;) Though I have to admit.... That only happened once and I still don't know how he didn't kill me first. The fellow tagged me first with his knives as I was jumping, took out most of my armor, somehow didn't kill me and I landed behind him and smacked him. Just be careful with the Myofibs. They will open alot of interesting possibilities, but, depending on how many Myofibs you have on, also close off any tight low ceiling spaces that require small jumps to navigate through.

Abolish it. The CPM represent the community, without the CPM we would not have a game as good as this. They are the communication between the devs and the players. Long Version There are two kinds of LCD monitors that matter to us: TN and IPS. IPS are intentionally built with 2 frames worth of lag (sometimes more) in order to overcome it's weakness: Ghosting. TN panels have different weaknesses(viewing angle) and are not built the same way. All home entertainment televisions are IPS panels. MOST computer monitors are still TN. This is not in the stats of the TV, on the side panels, the stickers, the flyers, on the internet or even in the brain of the sales representative in the store. This is a factory thing, mostly kept under the hood. Most important of all, this input delay is NOT repeat NOT what they call "response time" on the stats of the monitor. Response time is something else ENTIRELY. Know what cannot be known.
