We would form two squads and have it out. It also has the added benefit of creating an enjoyable match for the blueberries when two good squads are fighting it out. Going to be doing the middleman thing for a few people I know. Partly because I don't really trust many of the forum goers that have said they'd be doing it. When you are given isk it does show up; how much and from whom it came. Hoping something like that is the system for trades also and not the mcc lab that doesn't show what you got. Personal trades I don't see myself doing much of it unless it is to get the quafe plasma cannon or the knifes. I have promised to give someone the toxin bpo and dragonfly scout bpo. I kinda have 2 extra sets of each. For the middle man thing, maybe creating an alt with nothing really in the assets will help. TLDR : XD

He's the reason why I finally specced Gal Scout. And yes, we're all scrubs. It even says so in our corp description. "Must be a scrub to enter" If you haven't yet, read the FA corp description. That doesn't bother anyone I don't think, even many new players should be smart enough to pick up on competitive trash talk. As far as Infected's post goes, he ends with "This thread just drips tears. They are delicious. Keep it up." Whatever he may have been right about with regards to using Adv gear etc. he completely negated it with the last line. PR is tough, and it doesn't take much to sour people's views about your corp with comments like that. Particularly when directed towards someone obviously new and frustrated. As to what you should do, first accept what you have no control over (matchmaking/team balancing), poor NPE, and no outlet outside PC for high skill players. Then you can find creative ways of addressing what you can control. If playing in large squads causes problems, play in 3 man squads, and after games send an email to new players inviting them to squad with you. Not only will this dilute the skill of the squad, but this will give FA an opportunity to create goodwill by interacting with others (just make sure you don't have anyone on mic that will tend to talk negatively and erase the goodwill you are trying to create). Not only will you create a positive experience for new players, but you could meet some new, interesting people and perhaps gain yourself some quality recruits in the future. If you just got out of a stomp, find a guy or two on the other team that tried hard, and send them an email telling them good job, and sorry that the teams couldn't have been balanced better. If guys in the corp are apathetic, they can be problems. Just look at the NFL. Hundreds of guys lead quiet lives, and contribute significantly to their community, but it only takes one or two bad eggs to ruin the reputation for everyone else. In the same way we keep each other in line here in the Barbershop, someone needs to step up and be accountable for FA, or else accept the consequences of inaction. On the forums, when someone gets ragey about stomps and FA, take a deep breath, and instead of being defensive (which is the natural default setting in such situations), empathize with them and validate their frustration. A lot of times people are just venting, and if people are treated with respect and have their sentiments acknowledged as legit, when they calm down they will have a more positive view of the interaction than if they were attacked or just ignored. Not to mention, having to repeatedly fight for positive changes in the game to make it better. Whether that be PC changes that allow you more of an outlet, or advocating for bringing back Corp battles to fill a gap PC and FW can't. Just look how long it took us to get any scout changes, to get Sprint Glitch fixed, and to get back pedal reduced. It takes FOREVER sometimes, but its either that, or just move on. Just like previous iterations of Dust we can only adapt to the circumstances, whether it be omniscient installations or team balancing that works as intended but still doesn't get the job done. o7 Former CEO of the Land of the BIind. Often the other side will do the same and you have a good fight. It's sensible to spawn in proto from the start. You might then discover the other team are terrible, but it will be too late by then, switching to militia won't change anything. And why should you? Trying to win (without cheating) is the main point of the game. Some other players need to understand that when you find yourself on a team that is completely outmatched, and you are getting stomped, there is nothing wrong with pulling out a bpo suit, or sniping, or whatever. There is literally nothing you can do sometimes. ISK is very important to a lot of people, as they just can't afford to use their preferred suits if they throw it away. Pulling out proto, or even advanced gear against a stomp is often a complete waste. You will die in seconds and are very unlikely to kill anyone, or hack anything, or succeed in any way. I think some of the top players forget this. When they complain about people not trying it just comes across as very arrogant and out of touch. The problem isn't people's attitude in game, it's ccp neglecting (or not being able) to properly seperate vets (or just high skill players) and new players / bad players.
