Nope. I could take on a single CPU on 9 with no problems, without using any of the techniques in that video.
If you can take on the CPU at 9, you will have no problem beating casuals.

8 Round Flaylock. I would prefer a damage buff, but this will help it's problem of not being able to kill in a clip.
Also, some other predictions. Due to the how they are setting up the shield recharge rates, this is my predictions for the Assault suit recharge rates.
Currently, it's Commando < Sentinel < Logi < Assault < Scout for shield recharge rates.
Due to the currently released values for Shield recharges, here is my guess for the rates:
Min Assault: 30 hp/s Cal Assault: 40 hp/s Gal Assault: 20 hp/s Amr Assault: 20 hp/s
This is roughly in between the Sentinel and Scout recharge rates. This makes sense when you look at the values
Cal Commando: 20 hp/s Cal Sentinel: 30 hp/s Cal Assault: ? Cal Scout: 50 hp/s
Min Commando: 18 hp/s Min Sentinel: 20 hp/s Min Assault: ? Min Scout: 40 hp/s
See how the logic works?
Anyways, gonna build my new MK.0 Assault, and see how it works, then go to sleep.

Yep. looks like I might be keeping the SP I've got in the Mini Assault after all. Only at the advanced level, but even then the 15% bonus along with the weapon specific bonuses should be pretty substantial.

I had a moment like that once. It's an amazing feeling, it could've gone either way, nearly everyone was in the same building fighting over it, we were being pushed back so I dropped an RE in a hall way, kept pushing us back, started puring through the hall then KABOOM! I stopped counting after 5.
Also, that Minne bonus is looking pretty good, does that inculde Swarm Launchers? One thing I'm concerned about though, is the whole tank issue, has there been any mention of tweaks?

Has it been Dev confirmed anywhere? Just curious as the posted info was "+1 to Minmatar explosive weaponry clip size", which seems a bit more specific?

was playing around with a new alt, going to squirrel some SP to play with 1.8 when it comes. I was sort of having fun with the standard freebie medic fits, since it has armor+repair on it for free.
I thought to myself, "this is pretty awesome... but its so slow, and has no useful radar... if only I could get it on a cheap scout.."
But of course, that's something like 400k+ SP away. I already dropped what I had into SMG sharpshooter. Even if I had it though, I'm saving for the NEW suits?
Then I finally noticed, that the MILITIA minmatar light, has no highs, but two lows.
its win/win/win

oh, and cheaapp! Fitted out with milita stuff, it's 2.4k. Woo!

On my logi alts, I like to take the Medic [Starter Fit] and replace the MLT Nanite Injector with the ADV scanner. This is highly effective. This is the only thing I'm sad about losing come the change to scanner. So nice only losing 2k ISK per suit.

Mini Assault changes + proposed buff to the MD, 11 shots at 300/145 direct/splash. With the damage increase might even be worth putting some more points into MD and try running it on my scout again

I don't think it'll be that bad actually. With all the work they're doing with the racial variant suits and weapons, I expect we'll see more diversity, as only Minmatar Assaults will be able to spam it effectively. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see proto spam squad making the rounds, but it's hard to balance against that

Mass Driver is only balanced on a Logistics suit without a sidearm. A 2 person team, one using the Freedom another using the Boundless go beyond the range of Area Denial and into OP territory with current mechanics. The only reason this isn't used as often is because of RR and CR changing the DPS game where most suits are armor tanked plus shields being so weak. Lowing the TTK on the 4 rifles will bring back the superiority of this combo, the damage increase just making it all the worse.
