After a bit more probing, it seems that this list of 'facilitating subjects' is more of a suggestion of subjects to take for people who don't actually know what they want to study at university and want to keep their options open, rather than a definitive list of subjects that must be taken to be accepted into the universities. These are the subjects that are most commonly requested to have been studied at A-Level. I know that I want to study an undergraduate degree in Law though, and for this subject there are no specific subject requirements, meaning that I should be fine to carry on studying English Language, alongside History and Government & Politics (BTEC Law on the side but I'll drop that after a year ).

But seriously, this all should have been explained to me prior to me selecting my A-Level subjects. Effing useless English education system.

I appreciate your optimism Duncan, but what he said doesn't really mean anything. He says that streamlining assets COULD be an option, but what are we seeing? new SKINS every 2 weeks added to market and no sign of power cores.

They were supposed to minimise load by SKINS, but right now it seems they only made 2 times more entries in their databases because of them (now we have basic bpo + skin, when before you had only BPO).


I know I'm posting a lot of downer things and being pissed a lot lately, but I'm just very sad to see this game die.
I loved the idea, the eve world, but the idea is not working as intended and eve world is only on your local chat and sometimes in FW..
At times I feel CCP is acutally just trying to make the last penny from SKINS and pull the plug.

We've seen no real progress on performance, they cut some important things to make it work (like teaming in a match, mails being deleted). But we did not have any bump in performance, quite the opposite, I'm experiencing more and more frame rate drops.

Apart from that, there's a lot of veeery old bugs that have still not been adressed after so much time, not even an acknowledgment like "we know it's not working right, we will fix this ETA 1 month".

On the other side, we have tons of discussion about stuff that in my opinion has very little influence on the game, and we are being given new "options" that noone ever asked for (warbarge? progression?) which I imagine took a lot of work time for (IMO) nothing.

I really wish there was something I could wait for in the next update/release/hotfix. But it looks like it's not happening any time soon, if ever.

Once again, sorry for being such a downer, I'm just pretty fed up with how things are going around here lately..
