I think that myos have nothing to do with hp stacking and shouldn't be nerfed/changed just because "HP is OP" btw. do you guys remember when rattati said "King HP is in for a surprise soon" few months ago? Where's that surprise? :/
Another thing that I can't comprehend is why hp modules don't have stacking penalties? On the other hand OP stuff like range amps has penalties, it just blows my mind..

Take Myo out and you will only see people stack HP or Damage. Meds have enough slots to not worry about this shift. Heavies and Scouts would have to make the choice. Already encountering bouncing Amarr Assaults in increasing numbers, they would have to give up a bit of armour and likely just replace it with shields or Damage mods.

Do you think light frames should jump higher than med frames, and med frames jump higher than heavy frames?
Because that's how I thought about it when they first introduced "jumping" myos. Light frames being the ones that take the most advantage (jump higher etc) from myo modules, as they are a class that is supposed to be the most agile (hence low hp values) Now it looks like that a medframe can run *almost* at the same speed as a scout and jump at the same height.
IMO how high you can jump using myos should be dictated by the size of the frame you are using. (no more heavies jumping like rabbits)
And please for the love of everything that is holy, just give heavies a little bit more base jump height so they can hop over 10 cm ledges.. ;)

Myos seem perfectly fine in high slots tbh. For a long time, almost all the good mods went in low slots. We're finally starting to see this change. Why is this a bad thing? Without myos in high slots, the only worthwhile mods that go in highs would be shields and damage mods.

Honestly, I reckon all of these problems, and plenty more, would be solved overnight by adding inertia physics. From a game mechanic point of view, that's probably easier said than done.

I disagree. Myrofibs are broken in my opinion. The maps were not designed with them in mind and it allows a huge advantage in their use. The fact you get insane melee damage since they added it onto a module instead of making a new one is just insult to injury. |
