Humvee column with a car to protect. Retrieve supplies, get back to base. Learned how to cover sectors in a column and spot ambushes. They put me on the gun in the front car So, we basically spotted ambushes just in time to drive right into them guns blazing. I think there was only one where we managed to detect and set up from a distance and do work with the 50 cals. Was overall pretty fun. Got shot a lot, never died, again. Actually managed to take down around 5 or 6 targets myself. When all but me and squad lead was injured, I worked with him to clear a town by ourselves. Was pretty fun. Lots of covering and moving smart. We actually failed the mission because we got "Arma'd". Driving on a road, hit a tiny bump and blew all 8 of our military grade wheels at once. We said "SCREW IT" after that and called in a chopper to get the goods. We were pretty done afterwards, since we kept losing people to disconnects or just having to leave. Still pretty fun, learning a lot as I go. Currently listening to: Tsukihime OST Un-Retired PC Scout. I miss the old days ;_;

Yeah I think PSU's have an 80% efficiency rating on average...the "gold" variants rate better but I think 80% is a solid figure to work with. So 470W draw is borderline for a 660W PSU that actually delivers 530W. 750W is much nicer.

Not sure what people are actually seeing when saying they have lag, but the root cause can be with the network (latency) or the client (can't keep up). Because if I remember rightly the two are very different, and framerate drops are what has changed for the worst. /part spitball I am currently trying to figure out a way to prove the theory that the problem lies with the hard drive. If I could only replicate the problem at will, I could switch out my current drive for an SSD to see if that helps. But no point trying that without a valid test. Need a monster theory from Keeriam that we can prove. [edit] The problem wouldn't actually be with the hard drive, just that there is a bottleneck with IO caused by poor design or a giant dirty subtle bug. I was sitting on a static menu yesterday, 10 minutes after switching on the PS3. Only on-screen movement was flashing chat channel icons. The hard drive light was constantly flickering, I'd guess an average 50% load. There is no reason for that much activity in that situation. If that is the baseline for just having the DUST client loaded, no wonder things start falling over without having to do too much else.

Oceania was dismantled a year or so back; pubs are played on 1 of 3 battleservers (Americas, Asia, Europe). Not sure about FW and PC. Shoot scout with yes. - Ripley Riley (for CPM2)

I got a turtle beach PX21 a few years ago: http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/headsets-legacy/ear-force-px21/48 Lots of wires, if you can afford it get a wireless headset (though check with Shotty as he always seems to be charging his :-p ) but if you can stand wires trailing all over the place, this one is fine by my standards. 2. 576p rings a bell with me. Can't remember what other options there were. might check tonight.
