I used to think that both Ark and Kirk were the same person, but then I saw one of Kirk's vids where he and Ark were in the same match at the same time.

But I'm still certain that Cat Merc belongs to one of them...

On the topic of the other thread, I might have to retire the old "Team Gallente" label. It'll be weird to think of Aeon, Sgt Kirk and Cat Merc as separate entities, but the more I look at their post histories, the more I'm seeing varying degrees of crazy talk. Every once in awhile, they even seem to disagree with one another. Emphasis on might retire.

Might have been the first day of open beta. I don't think that Cat Merc, Arkena and Aeon are the same person. Cat has a deep voice, a Middle Eastern accent and is supposedly from Israel. Arkena has a small, squeaky voice (:P), a British accent and is supposedly from the UK. Aeon has a normal voice, an American accent, and is supposedly from the southern United States. I don't think I've heard Sgt Kirk in-game, but his writing style is wildly different from the other three's.

The thing that strikes me is how Cat Merc has 'Merc' in his name. I certainly didn't know I was a mercenary before I started playing, and even then I didn't know that 'merc' was an abbreviation for 'mercenary' until a couple days after I started playing at least.

Anyway can tell you Kirk and Ark are definitely not alts as I got trampled by the both of them in FW a while back...there will also be (I guess?) archived twitch stream material showing them with Kubo, Haerr, et al.

I sometimes wonder why I share stuff

1) How on earth can the 81k be a point of consternation. It's a figurative number that's the same in the first and second line of the example, meant to show that the ISK burn is the same.

2) Why would the dropsuit need to cost anything, when the ISK burn has been moved to the Power Core? That's the core principle that you don't lose the suit, just fit it for the occasion without managing tons of different dropsuit types that all have the same PG/CPU.

3) There will be no refund of any ISK. Advanced and Prototype suits get refunded with Adv and Pro Powercores.

4) SKINs, could be simply purchased by ISK, still be BPO's and unlocked by the same skill as the Powercore/Dropsuit, so there would be progression and persistence in that.

5) The CoD argument is utterly trite

6) Sizes would each have it's own Power Core progression, but Logis/Assault and Basic could be all the same Powercore. Basic would be the normal, but Assault Dropsuits grant fitting bonuses so eventually, with the combat skills, would become a better Assault than Basic.

6) Balancing would then happen much more on the PG/CPU cost of Gear side, adjusted to fit faction doctrine.

I don't do the danceGǪ I suck at it for one. Two, my preferred weapons do not benefit from the dance.

- entrenched Reds have less of an advantage if they have to watch for that suicidal Minja coming from damn near anywhere.

Bottom lineGǪ I have to use hit and run tactics because I suck at wiggle wiggle, and AA does not help a Breach Flaylock. I think we will see more of this play in the scout field. This is the kind of play I believe Ratati is talking about when he say "tactical Shooter"

Now that is how I run my MinjaGǪ and that is what I run the most.

Again, I've not been keeping up, but are there sources on these? Because these changes alone would make me super excited.

1. I know there was a data blip a while back where Calassaults became immensely popular, but that really was a data blip caused by something weird going on in the data pull. I don't think they're actually that great.

2. Is the SCR getting nerfed? I haven't been keeping up, but if it isn't the Amarr assault is certainly not a contender for the worst assault post-strafe speed nerf. Indeed, it's likely to be the least affected by a strafe speed nerf given that it relies on heavy HP tanking rather than strafe anyway.

I... You didn't realise that we weren't all completely unified in our quest for glorious 100% Gallente dominance over every category? Some of us want 110%, some of us want to remove the Caldari. There are disagreements about whether to do both of these or to do both of these twice.

So that assault speed needs to be reduced ASAP beside the strafe nerf.

Did a PC last night with some bs hit detection. So I sprint into the city in my speed tank min scout as fast as fast can be with another scout. He hacks I cover him and spot an enemy arrived get maybe 4 seconds after us. We were probably slightly closer to this city point on this map so seems legit speed scout fight time. I jump him and SG him straight up, at this point he should be dead. Nope, he has a sliver of life left and SGs me. Min Assault SG speed fit. Why even run a min scout it's such bs they get there so close with enough hp to take a SG blast. My buddy finishes him off but the fact he made scout sprint time yet had such a HP advantage pisses me off.

To top it off, that speed min assault had one more drop uplink he could deploy due to bandwidth imbalance on scouts, something I never agreed with. Now tell my I shouldn't be using a min assault?

If you insist on digging through post history, you're going too far back. Peoples opinions and feelings change with time and bringing those up can do no good and is likely to be seen as a petty attack or attempt to find any small fault with them. My advice would be to stick within a one month timeframe to get an idea of their recent trends and where they're going.
