Minmatar tactical strike ammo is EMP. I haven't heard of anybody using it though because it doesn't kill.

I'm referring to CCP Remnant's Q/A session where he stated this:
"and have War Barge-fired EMP strikes that destroy all equipment over a very large area."
The EMP Orbital Strikes are incredibly effective and were the staple for ANONYMOUS' victories for many months.

Really? Heavies are definitely way more difficult to handle than before, but that just makes them more of a challenge. 1v1 against a heavy is fun, I win about 70% of them. When I don't, it's usually because I'm doing something stupid or get stuck on the terrain. Enemy groups that include a heavy, though, is a whole different kettle of fish.
BTW: I run an advanced level scout suit with just over 300 HP and advanced ScR. I tank - if having 1 complex module of each counts as tanking - speed, scan range and shields (can't use my second high slot due to insufficient CPU and PG).

Also, think the Gallente Sentinel was supposed to have a resistance to Hybrid - Railgun damage, rather than Hybrid - Blaster.
Out of the suit skill bonuses, blasters were mentioned three times and railguns only once. Believe there is a typo here.

No, it isn't. Nearly everyone uses the Quantum scanners anyway, so that's an extra 50m and 4sec on the Advanced, and 6.25sec on the Duvolle Quantum. If you used the Credron Flux Scanner, you'd get an extra 100m and have a slight edge in dropping OBs. Due to its long cooldown time, it isn't good for much else.
The point being, at least you could still hide from these scanners by using two complex dampeners. It's more balanced to have one side with longer range/longer duration scanners and still be able to hide from them, than to give them longer duration scanners with such a high precision that you can't hide from them no matter what you do. |

A. I'm absolutely positive I'm not more experienced than you - especially not in PC (I've done a puny 20 or so). B. I'm also certain that I'm not a better player than you. You've certainly kicked ass (both mine and others) the few times I've played in the same matches as me. On an absolute skill scale, I'm pretty sure you're leaps and bounds ahead of me. I'm also fairly certain that I have a quite different play style from yours, though. My post wasn't made to brag about my own accomplishments and skill. It was also not made to compare my skills to yours. It was simply an attempt to express that I think heavies are fine as is - instead of the sitting ducks they often were before - and that I find it a nice challenge to go up against them. |

Gal bonus is not that good after all. I mean, it doesn't change your life, with an ADV scanner you will pick 90% of players, scan duration is good enough, scanner recharge is fast, so you can spam another scan before the effect of the firts goes away.
It can be a good bonus only if they change scanner too, the should raise recharge time and lower the visibility time, then it will make difference between a scan with a gal logi and another suit.

Yes, I can run around and heal players with ease. Yes, I'll be able to do so with more efficiency and haste than any other Logi, but in a game where speed pales in comparison to total eHP, what good can come from running to an ally in need of repairs if I cannot tank the hits on route to my target.
Players who know what they are doing already prioritize killing Logis carrying rep tools as they pose bigger threats than the targets engaging them. A MinLogi's speed could be better utilized through rushing in to resurrect players via injectors or speeding to an objective to lay out some well placed uplinks.
Being fast barely means anything right now. That is why Scouts are in such a bad position. In all, I'm not saying the new bonus is bad, but it doesn't seem to fit with how low TTK is. A dual-tanked Amarr Logi or an armor tanked GalLogi, in my opinion, would make the Rep Tool bonus truly shine. |
