Hopefully this is bullshit. I don't wanna lose my bonus to hacking speed as a Minmatar Logi |

I don't wanna lose my bonus to hacking speed as a Minmatar Logi Truthfully, you'll still hack fast as hell with the complex codebreakers... And I am usually the guy who says "no refunds", but this is not a simple change to one or two suits. This changes the entire game for pretty much everybody. I imagine there are probably scout changes coming as well. I think its interesting that the commando will now be the highest DPS suit.
Im already using an enhanced codebreaker. I specialized in hacking purposefully, now I'll lose that 25% extra hacking speed I get from having Minmatar Logistics at lvl 5. A complex codebreaker won't offset that loss. :/ |

Erm, yes you should. It's not our (the players) fault that ccp didn't release a finished product in the form of this game, that constantly needs retconning and adjustments to game mechanics.
If they change something in regards to a skill that I've already spent skillpoints on then I should get a respec of those skillpoints because it's not reasonable to expect me to predict that ccp game developers whimsically decides to change what a particular skill does in the game.
I spent my points on the skills as they were written, thus it's only fair that I get the opportunity to spend them on something else whenever ccp decides to re-write what a skill does.
Your reasoning would only further alienate players from this game. |

Soraya Xel wrote: Obviously you spent your skills unwisely, as you decided to skill into a logi suit to do a scout suit's job, when you long knew the bonuses provided were temporary. That was a poor choice, but it doesn't entitle you to a respec.
Who says that hacking is "a scout suits job"? I sure as hell haven't read it in any lore, devblogs from ccp developers or any other sources for that matter.
I was never informed that the hacking bonuses to the minmatar logi suits was supposed to be "temporary".
I speced with the intention of being good at hacking, and I did it according to the in-game description of the in-game mechanics (which should be the only source any player reasonably should follow in order to get expected results from their chosen allotment of skillpoints).
So yes I damn well deserve a respec, as do everybody else who gets the carpet ripped from under their feet by the whimsical decisions of the devs.
You however argue that players should have some sort or magical and supernatural ability of foresight when spending skillpoints. Who do you expect to convince with your borderline religious mumbo jumbo? Didn't we cast enough bones and read the future correctly and therefore do not deserve a respec? |

Awesome. My lvl 5 in Minmatar Logistics suddenly felt a bit wasted. :/
I only got it for the hacking bonus. I barely even use proto logistics.
Looks like i'll have to retire my Sever bpo as well... |
