Against my techie friend's recommendations, I chose an AMD FX-6200 CPU. I was under the ill-informed impression that since the next (current?) gen consoles would be using AMD CPUs, my PC would be able to handle ports better. So far it does great in most circumstances but there have been some noticeable issues that I think come down to the AMD CPU. It definitely causes problems in games with PhysX enabled and I suspect that it causes some stuttering in a few other games. I think I would recommend Nvidia as it just works out of the box better but I've had very few problems so I don't think it matters much.

Disclaimer: I have only the most basic understanding of computers, so I reserve the right to be very wrong

My favourite sidearms: 1, Flaylock Pistol 2, Ion Pistol 3, Magsec SMG 4, Bolt Pistol 5, SMG 6, Scrambler Pistol Ion pistol is probably the easiest for me to use. It does everything the scrambler does better. Get your Electronics and Engineering to 5 before you even think about biotics. They are so fitting intensive that you are really hurting yourself by trying to use them without those maxed. Damps 5 as you say. I would get Precision If Minja, Shields 4 for sure, I like mine at 5. I think I still have my armor at 4 after 2 years... I really wouldn't recommend using any plates though because until you can pair them with KinCats you'll just be hurting yourself. Now with weaponry I don't know exactly what to tell you... CRs are great, but not taking them to 5 (which I think is a requirement to get the hipfire down with sharpshooter, something you need to double check) is important because taking sharpshooter to 3 makes a huge, massive difference in how the weapon performs. So take that into account before diversifying your weaponry. With such low SP, especially with scouts, it seems awfully early for diversifying your other suits. That is just a personal preference as I found it best early on to go deeper with the things that mattered most before diversifying, particularly with suits because those were more expensive. But that all depends on what you want to do with things as well, because I still run my Minja 90 to 95% of the time, minus the Minamando for AV or sniping. Former CEO of the Land of the BIind. Guess he is in the amd camp? I dunno personally why he chose it over the other. The mismatch in watts can be taken care of. TLDR : XD

You've a semi-functional "grinding" suit above, so now all your spare and earned SP should be going into Core Shields, Core Armor, Electronics, Engineering, Hacking, EWAR, KinCats. These are your "Core Upgrades" and they should all be level 5 before you branch out into other suits and weaponry. Before you start your next gun or suit, you'll also want a minimum of level (3) in CR ammo, sharpshooter, proficiency and reload as well as proficiency (3) in Nova Knives. This essentially is what I have now minus some cores. Also, I tend to die a lot. And because of that, a 40k loadout isn't what I'm aiming for sadly. I tend to die 10+ times. So at this point, I think I'm going to max Min Scout, and do what you have. Maybe get cloak to 3 because the timer on the regular one is ridiculous. A Merc Pack sounds like a better long term investment, especially with your relatively low SP allotment. At the very least, if you end up with BPOs you don't particularly care for, you could potentially trade them in the future for ones that would be of greater benefit. I have Ion maxed everything and the ScP is by far a better pistol and all i have with it is pro 1. It is no contest. Only Amarr weapon I have and only reason I skilled it was to pretend it was the Ion pistol since to me the Ion mechanic is more in line with Amarr. I would not care if the Ion could not shoot past 15m if it could at least hit a target at 15m and reliably fire when I need it to instead of locking up in charge mode or just not shooting at all out of cloak. I vote it the biggest POS weapon in the game. poor range bad dispersion poor dmg out side of charge but yeah i want a delay after 1 shot SMG, Bolt, or ScP my top 3 If I was not saving my money for PS2 I would respec out of it and not think twice.
