Not all of us could afford running proto weapons.
Even though I have no life I know I will never get the kills to win the event but at least with militia weapons even the poor mercs have a chance.

The Light Weapon event would have been interesting as Militia thoughGǪ I think Sidearms are closer to balanced against each other (Except Bolt PistolGǪ. because  ) Light Weapons are not as balanced against themselves in militia or each other (partially due to the variation in purpose) Kills with a Militia SR would have been a challenge before the fixGǪ particularly against tanked out suits.
