I'm behind on everything and still haven't seen deadpool or Batman V Superman. In my opinion I'm probably not going to like Superman V Batman.
Been logi'ing since release. Need to give those needles and self proclaimed king of logi hugs ^-^

I am kind of over the superhero movies. They all seem to just be excuses for special effects, and I haven't seen one since the Dark Knight trilogy that really told a good story.

I can see that. Perhaps one of the reasons I liked the Daredevil series on netflix. Not a special effects fiasco, and more centred around characters and development. I also am very impressed with the DC animated movies. They pretty much use the comics as storyboards for the animation. Rumours of an animated Killing Joke are abound right now.

Due time Hollywood gets off this comic book kick and starts being creative again. I've gotta give Marvel some credit for Guardians of the Galaxy though. That one was pretty dang entertaining.

Guardians of the Galaxy had everything you need to make a hit movie nowadays.
Excellent Soundtrack
Likable Main Characters
Sparodic comedy in good taste
Easy to understand and engaging plot
Seriously, combine the above with even decent actors and CG and you'll have a hit.

Even that I found disappointing (largely because of overhyped reviews).
And it had Karen Gillan, whom I am in love with. I don't care if she was bald.
I will say that I also loved the Watchmen, but that has been a long time ago.
I was looking forward to The Tick coming out on Amazon, after being a huge fan of the cartoon and short lived live action show (what is not to love about a villan named Apocalypse Cow and her fiery teets). Now I am hearing they are going dark and gritty with it. That makes me nervous.

Just can't get past the first episode.
I really dig what they did with the punisher in Daredevil. |

I liked it as well, but mostly for the little details, nods and foreshadowing of other things in the wider universe. Comic dork in me appreciated a lot of those things.
