Got another double kill with a Thukker!
Can you tell I like the Thukker?
It feels rather hipster, much like when Nova Knives used to be cool. Ahh, the good old days... /nostalgic sigh
But yes, they are surprisingly useful Scout tools.

Well after 1.8 dropped, which was after Nova Knives were "hipster." Maybe if you had started in the last part of 2013, but you were not there for "the good old days."

Was that when we had maps that always had the fire embers? During the meteor, yes I believe so. The meteor basically was the servers shutting down, and then being reborn. After closed beta. Closed beta was such a peaceful time...despite all those damn glitches. *nostalgia glasses activate*...oh the old days...I miss XIV now...

Release was May 15, 2013.
1.8 was March 2014.
FF 14 was late May.
Dries started after them all. When scouts were OP, and knives were plentiful.

When you called in a free LAV to get from point A to B just so you didn't get sniped? Good times. No sarcasm. Snipers should be buffed and people should htfu about them. I don't even use sniper rifles. |

Snipers should be buffed and people should htfu about them. I don't even use sniper rifles. Sadly, it'll never happen :/ people bitched for years and finally got what they asked for. Now even Zan can't use a sniper, saxon barely can even he complained that it needs a buff. I don't see our honor being restored.
I look back at some of my old posts during the sniper revolts and i sigh in sadness. I see me defending the class valiantly, and in vain. I do miss those times, so much. Maybe one day we will have a complete game and balance....

I'm thinking of starting a whole new scout archetype that I call the "assassin." The premise of this archetype is no health mods at all. The only thing that can go in your high slots is damage mods and myofibs since those are technically damage mods. In your lows you want to fit for stealth and speed by fitting damp and speed/stamina mods. Your weapons must always be alpha damage weapons. For the Caldari you got your sniper scout with a sniper/bolt pistol. Minmatar got a breach mass driver/nks or nks/breach flaylock pistol, gallente got plc and ip or bsg/ip. And Amarr was a weird one I think I would be dual breach scps.
