Hp creep is real, and you will need all the help you can get.

Try myos for mobility, but know 3 will result in fall damage from jumps.

Stick with stationary and less mobile targets at first.

 Good luck!

I've noticed that with only lvl 4 knives and lvl 3 Min Scout, my knives are not as effective as they can be. I plan on taking the SP from lvl 3 Amarr Sent and putting it all into Knives. Is prof 5 necessary, or a sidearm dmg mod?

How about the SMG? Is that a decent choice for a second weapon to complement the knives? I have zero SP into SMG, but I have the Toxin and it works well for a last ditch effort spray and pray.

I'm with OEK. Highly recommend running proto knives; make cuts elsewhere if necessary to fit 'em. Would also suggest mixing damps with kincats in lows and shield extenders + precision in highs. Your experience may differ, but I personally find the MN Scout to be too squishy to reliably make use of myofibs. Happy hunting. o7

I also don't use damage mods, but that is more personal preference than anything.

Ghost is saying the SMG is doing well lately as apair to the knife. I recommend making sure you stick your knives in the Light slot if you haven't done so already and go dual side arms.

Also would suggest a CB fit for some fast hacking if you find yourself in a game that needs it. And if you leave REs at objectives like me, lay the RE first so you can book it as soon as possible. Sometimes people get lazy, or in a rush to rehack.

I'm not sure if optimization will be worth it, but I'll go at least Prof 3 it sounds like. If I have the SP, I'll go Prof 5 and maybe optimization 2. With 10% PG reduction from Opt 2, that equals .6 PG savings. I'm curious if this gets rounded up to 1 PG savings?

 EDIT:
Should I then take all the SP out of shotguns (which I don't use) and toss it into SMG?

Actually played tonight. Girlfriend was asleep so i actually had a chance to, albeit i have not been much motivated lately. I rolled into the scene quickly in my Basic G-1 Light Suit and immediately got smacked by a core locus, with a message attached to it. It said "I want your tacos!"

So I wholeheartedly replied with my gracious and ever loving godrep gk.0 with my beautiful breach AR, which had words inscribed on the side, reading: "+£+ƒ+¢+¬+¥ +¢+æ+Æ+ò"

If he wanted my tacos, he would have to come for them, with my insane grin waiting for him on the other side.

So, with every passing second, it was a battle of tacos. I completely forgot about the objective, it was me versus him. The match, filled with insane laughter, lead and blood. I actually woke my girlfriend up with all my laughter, my eyes glazed and crazed as i took that filthy heathen down. Though she went back to sleep, because she knows i am a little bit insane (ha! A little bit...oh i crack myself up..)

I came out victorious, butchered him and all that got in my way of my glorious fight. Came out 30/15. It was beautiful, seeing my death over and over, and devouring those pathetic heathens with my fangs and bullets. This has been the first battle that has gotten me this excited, which will never happen again.

I long for the sweet death again....i long to watch the worlds through my decaying eyes...the feeling of fading off into nanitic dust....

 o7 dude!

Personally I've never put SP into the shotgun, just not my style.

Having gone all-in on weapons before though and regretted it (and reversed it with respecs) I'd advise to avoid going to Prof 5. I think 3 is enough, maybe 4 if you want to be super extreme but oh does it hurt when they nerf your weapon and you're looking at all the SP you wish you had back from Prof 5.

 Results from event

 Got a skin a don't want on a suit i don't use
 253/514
Made my carpal tunnel flare up
Dug more then 100k into my cap
Realized what suits i can really work with
Had fun with my CA shotgunner vs corpmates MA shotgunner
Recieved compliments on said fights/suit itself
 Significant improvement in shotgun/Nking
Generally hated in CQC, tho sometimes ill still empty a clip around a guy at 3mts
Realized i expected this to be easy, partly why it didn't work out
Realized that getting a RESPEC out of an event may never happen again
Realized also, the more you want something, the harder it is to get/harder you have to work for it
Survivalbility sometimes means being spineless, or smart enough to go yeah no not going after that guy

Gave up early cause the best way for me to have completed this event was to build up kills every day, not try to cram it in in 3 days. Plus my hands hurt. Going to watch Crunchyroll. Japanese anime. One of the ways i learned how emotions looked, ironic cause I'm stoic faced. Better tho, my main expressions are as followed, low simmering boil, boiled over rage, happy, and focused.

The matches were extraordinarily dull, even by DUST standards.

Seriously. We had multiple matches where there were 2 or 3 people on the other team.

Booby Tuesdays wrote:I'm not sure if optimization will be worth it, but I'll go at least Prof 3 it sounds like. If I have the SP, I'll go Prof 5 and maybe optimization 2. With 10% PG reduction from Opt 2, that equals .6 PG savings. I'm curious if this gets rounded up to 1 PG savings?

Optimisation rounding is weird. I always thought that there was never any point investing in optimisation for weapons with less than 4 PG requirement, because it doesn't round up. But actually it does round up but only once it totals all your PG.

 Example:

 Weapon A: 2 PG
 Weapon B: 2 PG

25% reduction from L5 optimisation in each = 0.5 PG reduction for each weapon.

 0.5 + 0.5 = 1

Your PG requirement is reduced by 1.

 [edit]
Actually I don't remember if it rounds up or not, but obv the example above doesn't show how rounding works. I think it rounds up though. Might be worth fiddling on a couple of no SP alts...
