To be honest, what I liked about Dust when I first started was the fact that I had something to look forward to by playing, whether that was unlocking the shotgun, getting better dampening, whatever. I liked having a skill set. It felt like I was customizing my own character the way I liked to play, not just the presets that other games gave me, which brings me to modules. Probably the best thing this game has to offer.
Also, ISK. Having a limited amount of 'lives' available by having a limited amount of ISK that you had. Sure, it means absolutely nothing to be now since I'm rich, but it also gives me the pleasure of laughing at the poor.
You know what really killed Dust? It's performance, and idiots. The lack of racial content is so little compared to those two.

You mean a headset. You don't need to cover your ears with just a mic.

I don't know about tanks, but Sniping on PS2 was also great.
I still deleted the game because it was boring as sin, but that should not detract from the sniping.

Tried a few things tonight...
Breach SG is now useable but subpar and gets you killed.
Bolt Pistol charge up time seems pretty noticiable to me. Not sure I like the feel of it. Got me killed once so far.
Trying to test the assault SMG and ScP but got a battle full of cowards. Aka spent match trying to find someone to fight. |
