Well my boss was the one telling me to claim shotty. I have footage from cctv and a copy of the accident report aswell. Now I won't lose dexterity in my hand as long as I keep moving it, making a fist and wiggling my fingers. but I have to wear this glove thing to avoid infection. By the way moving a burned hand like you would a healthy one. I wouldn't do it unless your on seriously good pain meds guy's I screamed so loud the first time XD. Thankfully my tendons got away with out any real damage and I just have to avoid heavy scaring affecting mobility.

Still hurts like hell tho.

because of all the things to screw up on that would probably be it. Ability to switch what u were trading with the person.

I was in a motorcycle accident where my hand got caught in between the car and my gas tank at around 50MPH. My hand was in a glove with armor thankfully. Totally my **** hand.. TBH I can't recall if that was a problem lol. It swelled so fast the skin split in certain areas and my ring finger/pinky finger knuckles were ****** up.

After a half hour of nurses digging into the wounds of my hands with wooden sticks to makes sure everything was out of there, they lightly bandaged it up and told me to let the holes and splits and **** heal up and close on their own.. and not to seal/bandage it. It took me a few months of being diligent to move my hand around and make fists before moving onto one of those squishy stress balls. No you;d be hard pressed to know anything happened, and the only sign other than some scars is that my right pinky won't totally extend all the way. I got it to like 90%.

TL;DR- don't skimp on working your hand while it heals. It will set up how you heal for life.

And **** your company- shotty has it right. I'd even talk to a lawyer.

If there's permanent damage or major future medical bills involved, I'd talk to a lawyer. Or if you don't like your job, I'd talk to a lawyer. Likely have a good case.

I'm not a big lawyer guy myself, but shot shave been fired frankly. Once your employer starts doing sketchy stuff it is best to get ahead of it vs hoping for the best. They are obviously going to get away with as much as possible even as misguided as it is if not malicious.

Also, just talking to a lawyer doesn't mean you have to sue. It's just a matter of getting good advice (which is not always what a lawyer does either so ya have be mindful of that). A good lawyer will look over everything, hear you out on what has happened, and tell you how to protect yourself properly, and when to start asserting your legal rights. Knowing what your rights are is nothing but good when you have a company's employees pulling shenanigans.

My boss has already called the insurance firm and ive already sent in doctor's and my therapists report. Ive also sent a copies to my family's lawyer for them to confirm with the insurances copies.
