Why boring? Play as you normally would. Get a corpmail alerting you to an inbound raid, ETA 20 minutes. Defend your territory, then go back to whatever you were doing beforehand. You don't have to wait around and do nothing; just need have to have folks online during your prime time.

Lucky shots are the best!
I have gotten a few. Usually after one or two calibration shots.
Nothing says FU like a PLC snipe. They can't even complain to someone about it.

I don't knowGǪ people seemed to be thrilled with locking districts and never fighting, this made them 733t and better than the peasants who did not PC. That was apparently exciting timesGǪ I think shaking things up a bit, less security in null sec, and a little more dynamic play might be more fun than that.
Perhaps waiting to see how this shakes up PC before implementing some real raiding might be the best ideaGǪ but then again
I'm a Bastard and a Pirate so I say **** it let's raid and shake it up now

Well, i will be safe in the air in my ADS that i purchased a while ago ($40), got a respec and haven't used it yet since i was suspicious that the 1.2 release would change the values of suits, (andit DID, strafing speed)
Here i was going to purchase the commando suits haha...still no love for dropsuits

If I were to spend my first hour teaching a new player anything, it would be how to fit a non-herpderp bad suit and explain that you don't do stupid **** like shotgun & nova knives. Then work on explaining skills.
There were some other interesting conversations that I cant remember.
I have been working on beating sengoku rance after rage-quitting almost three years ago after accidentally deleting one of my like turn 80 saves after clearing masamune house among other things. I also had my computer in the 'common area' of the apartment i was staying at, so couldn't openly play a game with that much **** in it despite it being an awesome strategy title.
