As I understand it, all pub modes will be getting a flat-rate meta lock anyway, with FW being a little more lenient and PC having no lock.

Are you suggesting that Jolly's "safe zone" be a playmode other than Ambush?
Edit: I personally like the idea of low-Mu Ambush being the newbro training grounds. It is fast-paced and simple. Folks are less likely to get bored.

This is a really interesting idea. I think they would still need to auto deploy some mercs into underway battles but this would be a sweet addition. If they could show the respect MCC armour / shield percentages it would be sweet.
This would also be great for solo players that just want to jump into battle quickly and not wait forever. Combined with ISK payout fixes for mid way battles and it would be great.

Part of the thinking with ambush over acquisition was vehicles. Ambush is already lacking them. edit: is it possible to award slightly more sp. less isk? I agree it'd be good to have a objective besides killing for people to go after. I'm just wondering: Can vehicles be called into something like this How do lower tier av do against said tanks If indeed the newbros get wrecked by the tanks Do you think you could really convince tanks/ads that they are losing another playlist
