I have purchased and played a lot of the UC3 no-limit level and thoughts? I love it. Its highly addictive and fun, though im not the best player its still SO MUCH FUN! Playing against higher tier players is a bit frustrating but im slowly learning to hold my own.
I also get this weird thing were if im shooting someone this plug type image shows up on screen and i stop firing and can't move for a couple precious seconds which allows them to kill me. It only happens when i shoot at certain players and their usually almost dead. I don't know but overall its AWESOME.

As for dusting - the number of times I've timed out at around the 11 minute mark waiting for Scotty is truly catastrophic for this game. If that's the standard experience of a solo player whose only unticked game mode is domination...then (yeah I'm gonna say it, find anywhere else I ever said this) this game is finally in its death throes.
On a brighter note - the 5th and 6th games I played this morning were pretty good. [edit] (yeah so that's 4 that were ******* ****) Here's probably my best ever score at DUST: http://youtu.be/5DtgPWu4ei4
Still not gonna say min assault is OP though - I still maintain it's the mu talking.
PS. Think I got my shotgun aim and timing back, bar a few misfires that killed me. |

I've spent -ú200 on the steam sale already and I'm not sure if I have regrets or not.
My library has swelled by almost 100 games. There are some insanely good deals atm - the Eidos anthology contains 34 games including solid games like DE:HR, and classics like legacy of kain.
I haven't looked at Valkyria Chronicles. Maybe I should do that. EDIT: Welp, it's -ú3. Mine.
@Ghost - if you like Homeworld, check out Sins of a Solar Empire. I prefer it over Homeworld, personally.

Played a 'bit of Red Dead last night; it's a gorgeous game. Switched back to Ghost Recon before calling it a night; really enjoying the campaign so far; haven't tried multiplayer yet. Had a couple great Dust matches this morning. Better "match quality ratio" today than yesterday. Will likely be back on later today.
PS: I only have issues finding matches when queuing for FW or during off-peak hours. If you're unable to find a match on your battleserver, I'd recommend switching to Americas. Match quality is perhaps poorer here but match availability is seldom at issue.

What makes you think that you wouldn't be stomped in a solo queue?
IMO, the problem isn't about stomp-squads simply existing. I think the problem is that there still isn't decent matchmaking to counter them. Without decent matchmaking, you'd still be getting stomped in a solo queue.

A solo queue filled by Scotty would have the potential to serve perfectly balanced sides. If you're really good and you're on one side, Scotty will put someone equally good on the other side. A player with off-the-charts Mu may go unmatched, but even that player can't stomp a match solo.
