I left SU when it got overpopulated after 1.8, and had a bunch of slayers, FOTM, and even non scouts.
I find Nova Knifers United to be a better scout option now.

Wasn't that problem was resolved?
Can confirm that Scouts United is largely inactive these days; usually under 10 names in there. Sontie would be sad ... we should invite folks back :-)

Yeah I run Minmando mostly for ***** and giggles - though does anyone know if their bonus to projectile / explosive light weapons affects the combat rifle? Seems like it should....but surely that would be OP for someone who can use a rifle? Anyway I use mass driver and plasma cannon on mine. Will have an 2nd fit with a flaylock once I save some more SP up.
I got some Amarr heavy skin the other day. AM-H or something? Might not have remembered that correctly. Also got a LAV BPO.
Oh and I found the dragonfly suit some of you have talked about in the past. It's part of the merc pack. Then I fitted it and realised I am only saving about 3K each time lol, so should've saved for an APEX...probably...nvm I was gonna buy AUR anyway.
Note to self: don't buy anything else until there is news on the powercore front.
Oh and I dumped alt-SP into min assault to see what all the fuss was about. Should have some footage of that soon...though initial impressions are it's barely different to the gal assault when fitting it as a scout. Of course these are the ADV variants - I don't do proto lol.

Nova Knifers United is mostly for Knifers and friends of Dreis, i myself adamantly squad up in NKU despite not being a knifer.
What is the point of reviving SU? Well for one, what is it hurting bringing it back? It is an old sanctum for scouts, since beta it has stood, it was a holy sanctuary for scouts to kick back and chat it up. All of us vets flocked to it, talking fittings and squads and random ****. Seriously, what is bringing this chat back hurting?
Another thing, I want to bring this chat back to uphold Sontie's memory, he did a hell of a lot for us, more than anybody really. Him and Aero and a couple others i am forgetting. They helped shape us, and I would likemto uphold his memory by renewing the oasis he started.
Like i said, NKU is really for nova knifers, even if Scouts flock to it. And you guys in NN don't have to give to *****, you got your corp chat, that is fine. But you can't stop me with your pessimistic speech.

Not really. It's mostly there for Dreis to pick up blues to help him in pubs 'cause he's afraid of going solo. I joined back when I didn't Nova Knife at all.
