They'd gain less salvage, but they'd still be pulling in the biggest EOM paychecks. ?
While I agree that Logistics should be capable of being lethal, one has be careful in trying to balance lots of kills + some WP vs some kills + lots of WP. Not saying your idea is not without merit, just a difficult one to pull off in a way that makes people feel like they got a fair deal.

I have been out for a while, dropped out in the middle of 1.8, played inconsistently like 2-3 times in between, up until now I'll be playing a bit more though. My skills are definitely lacking, been running BP/NK on my fits. Definitely a lot of changes. I've read the scanning tables, which are ok, and the cloak is terrible, lol, though it was the OP cloak which made me leave dust, being tied to a singular under powered item is also a wet blanket.
Been reading the trello boards, (the fact CCP implemented that surprised me). I got a few ideas myself, otherwise I just need to get adequate again along with talk with you guys more on your opinions on the scout.

think about it...tankers spend ALOT on tanks, and he gets awarded great for it. logi's just hold L1 and rep a slayer, they don't take risks and don't get rewarded as much. slayers would get rewarded more OR less than logi's for killing AND earning war points scouts would get less kills than slayers but more war points

If you are running a Balac's on an Assault mk.0 and I kill you, I get your Balac's, your Assault mk.0, and every thing you were running on it. Not Isk; the actual salvage. I can pawn used gear through Jara to augment my income, trade it with other mercs, or keep it in inventory and use it myself.
Meanwhile, the MN Logi who earns his own warbarge and way more Isk than anyone else each battle continues to do so.

That doesn't make any sense at all. I kill anything I think I can get away with killing; I don't "go looking" for other scouts to stab. As for vehicles, you bet your arse I'd try to pop 'em just like I do now. If I get one, I'll sell it after the match via player trade or market.
Players make the same Isk they make now in addition to picking up in salvage whatever they kill. The idea is to increase payouts, not replace them.

Edit: when coming out of cloak jumping while switching worked better than just trying to come out of it and shooting. 3 myofibs on min scout = able to shoot on the way down pretty much

okay life highlight in Dust 514 right here....
one time i was on a roof top with a plc and knives (in an adv minja built for stealth and speed i think and this was not long after the patch for knife range buff and the vehicle damage with them was introduced) and i saw a dropship (might of been ads im not sure) flying around the point which i was at and it flew down next to the roof top and i thought to myself 'this is going to be soooooo bad ass' and so i ran up to the edge and jumped... and missed the end... and landed on top of the ds i instantly screamed into the mic like a school girl getting her first kiss from her lifelong crush. i pulled my knives and started carving that bird and then it happened... i actually knifed down a dropship mid air... to this day ive never done it again.. but i set up a kill on a maddy or gunlogi in the same patch for a blue who had a militia ar because i ran outta rounds on plc XD (wouldn't it suck if a friendly forged the ds and i fell off :/ )
but yeah i love knifing tanks its funny when they are stupid enough to not know how to drive away from a wall so they can get away :P

( what about ads pilots? ) also so if i go by what you said money spent=more money back someone running starter fits gets no money someone in proto fits gets big money and redline rail snipers get pig payouts for killing a few installs and nothing of really help to the team.. and why would they ever want to make it so you skill into this and you get more money sp ect.. skill into this you get less. and dont say thats how it is because its all based on how good you are with your gear but the way you suggested is kinda poop.. just saying...
