I'd say Proficiency III is a good investment target for any weapon. I wouldn't recommend maxing out Proficiency (or investing in Optimization) until your core skills are maxed, and you have a few loadout options. My CR is level 5 and I think prof 2, I what should the sharp shorter be at to be decent? My Ar and SR are both at level 3, I like the AR more so I might skill that up more. |

A random thought :-) Notice above how much damage is put on target when Iggy centers aim over his target. Shotgun range has changed dramatically since Chromosome, but this"bull's eye" effect still applies. To practice aiming, run the Breach Shotgun for a few matches. It is a terrible weapon, but it's a useful training tool. Once you're able hit your targets reliably with the Breach, lining up bull's eyes with the vanilla shotty will be easier.
Run the same routes, tactics and loadouts as you would with your knifing fit. Recommend sensitivity 100/100 with aim assist:on. Recommend against aiming-down-sights. "Quick-scoping" doesn't hurt, but I don't do it. Also, practice using your legs to roughly center your aim over your target, then finetune your aim as you fire.

I liked the ISK and sp graphs at the end better then the version now. Simpler was nicer. Actually the entire EOM is kinda crap. I hate the slowly filling circles with the annoying sound effect.
