If I'm running a Fine Rifle, I prefer the staying power of an Assault Frame. With the power of correct positioning, I rarely have any problems killing anything sub-sentinel. I typically run a double damage modded Galscout when doing this, though I'm not sure the damage mods really help all that much. The thing is, it's often difficult to identify exactly where fire is coming from quickly. If you can get yourself in a position where you can prevent the target from quickly escaping your sights but still be in a position where they can't immediately turn around and zap you, then you can kill them before they can touch you normally. This is best accomplished with range, which is why I adore the RR scout. More specifically, the ARR, because the ARR is pretty amazing. The ironsights are irritating though, it's a real pain to consistently headshot when the sights aren't accurate. Gallente Guide

You've gotta be on your toes at all times as a scout, so sitting still to ADS for long enough to spool it and burn the target down is too much for me. The TAR, though... so good. TAR minnie scout is one of my favorite fits. It's like the RR but it sacrifices low recoil for high alpha. Plus it's a semi auto, and semi autos are best autos. Moves at a pleasing speed for excellent repositioning capability (the most important part of the fit, really), has solid damage output, has enough HP to take some light hits, inherently avoids nearly all scans, and has excellent utility. I used to adore the SCR but I can't really stand it on anything except the Amarr assault now. There's too much HP bloat for it to really work in anything other than scout duels without the bonus. EDIT: I want to love the TAR but it feels too unreliable. Too many times have I fired only to see a blue shield flash. I don't seem to get that as much with automatics. Semiautos are my weapon of choice in games other than DUST, though. Gallente Guide

I mainly use my dragonfly scout with two flaylocks. When I kknife I use my apex tiger scout and I get more kills with that suit knifing. Then I would if I run a similar fit with my proto minja idk why lol

I have the isk, because I got a lot of bpos. But I'm not good enough to run them, but I never ever had a proto suit, just got them when I recently came back. I used to run bpos from the elite pack 100% of the time. Even did pc with them with cores maxed out. But I respeced. My favorite suit to run is drop fly scout with two flaylocks. Second is the adv gal with plc and Flaylocks.
