Are focused scanners worth dampening below?

You can count me in whenever I'm on during that time And players can't be revived if they're killed by explosives in general, which is why I used to have a plasma cannon + flaylock + RE fit exclusively made to grief proto stompers. Sadly the ISK inflation we've gotten over time has made this less of a legitimate thing to do. Nobody cares if they lose proto suits anymore. I care

It's a mix to be honest. Most spam 21 dB flux for maximum coverage, but if scouts become a problem, they WILL switch to 15dB.
3 Gal Logis in the city with rotating focused scans force every scout to triple damp.

I specced Gal Scout because I was tired of the same thing.
It's better damped, faster, and has loads more fitting space.
It's not even fair

And why is that 15 dB scans are either non-existent or dang-near everywhere and constant? Are scannerinas to blame or do you think they're really fielding 2-3 GalLogis with 3-4 Focused Scanners a piece?
PS: Agreed, the GalScout is the Scout's only good response to frequent 15dB scans.

I have to take responsibility for Pseudo's confusion. I had said a few pages back that in all the PC's I've been in I haven't seen a Gal Logi scanner. Or any active scans for that matter, but it was only three PC's, and all where in my first week of joining.

That awkward moment when you're writing a paper and, having written 'biological systems' nine times within a ludicrously short space, start writing 'henceforth referred to as 'BS''.
It's probably quite descriptive of my paper anyway, though.

It's probably quite descriptive of my paper anyway, though. Most awkward that I saw was when I was taking a class with a teacher who gave us a paper that she had published, which referenced herself several times in the paper.
So it was basically a study by her, referencing herself in third person, and since she had been married and had a hyphenated name, all the citations took the form of whatever stage she happened to be at when she published the other studies that she did in the study she did.
And then we had to discuss it in class.
It was very trippy.

If anything, it was a demonstration of her ability to get published in the field and her standing as some sort of authority on the subject (which she totally was). There was also a point in which she said how weird it was to talk about someone else's well published works because she new the guy as "Bernie."

I was chatting with this really cool bioinformatics researcher and shortly later found myself referencing a bunch of his stuff. I was like... I know this guy!

But if I remember correctly, we also had to write a paper on the study, and weirdly had to cite her to in a paper to her. Or maybe it was a presentation. Either way we referred to her in the third person even though she was right there.
