Spademan, I really hope you have a PS4/Xbone/PC for Shadows of Mordor, or else you are in for a longer wait. Well no, but I had always intended to get it for the Ps4, regardless of when that may be. Though I do wonder whether the UK or Europe release date applies in Ireland.

So while everybody was off on Destiny, I decided to boot up Battlefield 3 and troll the **** out of people. Killing infantry with the EOD, tailing a tank and eventually destroying it the same way. Using a x6 rifle scope on a shotgun with frag rounds and out-sniping snipers, clearing defender building from just outside the attacker spawn. Jet shenanigans involving flying straight up, jumping out and rocketing them. I got kicked from like 5 servers.

Not only that the destiney user scores are in the multiple hundreds of reviewers.
Dust is likely not to see 250 or 300 reviews any time soon so the chance of a skewing is very slim.

DUST 514 IS OFFICIALLY BETTER THAN DESTINY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DP4Va75FLBo !!!!!
But seriously though, it's a combination of people mad that it's not on PC, people trying to lower a competitive console's Destiny score, and edgy anti-hype types that think every popular, marketed game is utter garbage. Metacritic user scores are horrendously easy to manipulate. Observe.
The general consensus from actual human beings is that the game is good albeit mediocre, but regardless, that's the way the metacritic page is probably going to stay.

To the Moon: A Bird Story's coming out this holiday season too. I am excite. Actually, TTM comes out one day after Rebirth. Oh the choices I'll have to make. I've not played the first Binding of Issac, how is it?
Steam has me logged at over 670 hours playing The Binding of Isaac, and that doesn't include the time I've spent playing the fantastic Spidermod and Community Remix mods to the game. So with that in mind, let's move on to my clearly unbiased opinion: It's one of the greatest games ever made.
Soundtrack - 11. Danny Baranoski is one of my favorite composers of all time (again, 100% unbiased), and he just knocks it out of the park with this one. Don't believe me? Plug in headphones, turn the volume up, and listen to the game's main menu theme. Or its first level theme. Or its final boss theme. Or any of its music. Do you want to know how good this soundtrack is? Even Satan has his own damn theme. Every single track in this soundtrack is perfection, hand crafted by a bearded Polish angel in order to invoke the richest, moodiest atmosphere this side of Metroid. Even if you don't want to play the game - which is totally understandable and I would barely hate you for it - listen to the damn soundtrack.
Sound design is also worth mentioning for being fairly low budget, but still quite good and more than enough to fit.
Story - 10. This one's debatable and a lot of people will disagree with me, but for a nearly 100% gameplay/poop focused game with little to no traditional story, this game has a pretty damn good story. It's been out for years but its overall lore is still very much open to interpretation, though some very interesting fan theories have been more or less confirmed by the developer. Little tidbits, items and item descriptions, and design choices all allow you to piece your own interpretation of WTF is going on together. It's a lot like Dark Souls in that way, though much less obtuse and arguably less deep. For as seemingly little of a story there is I give it a 10 simply because it does what it set out to do perfectly.
Gameplay - 10. This game is not perfect. In fact, it's broken in many, many ways. Why am I giving it a perfect 10? Because I'm a terrible, biased journalist and should be ashamed of myself. More poignantly, I give it a 10 because it does everything else so well that it's impossible for me to give it any other score. The game has plenty of minor glitches here and there. Frequently they fall into the "more of a feature than a bug" category and I'm sure quite a few will make it into Rebirth for posterity's sake. There are a few rather rare bugs that are game breaking. Some bosses and room layouts are borderline unfair. Perhaps the biggest offense, the game lags at one point or another on pretty much every computer due to its Flash architecture. But the game is just so damn good. You know how Dark Souls is flawed in numerous ways and is basically unplayable with KB&M, but is still loved anyway? It's like that. There have been volumes spoken by people more eloquent than I regarding how good Isaac's gameplay is, so I'll leave it up to you to dig for something more detailed, but the bottom lines is this: This is roguelike game design, perfected. Isaac spawned the revival of the Roguelike genre as we know it today, with games like FTL, Risk of Rain and Rogue Legacy following in its wake. It's challenging, but not unfair (mostly). It's got tight, fluid controls (mostly). It's mysterious, but not impenetrable (mostly). If any of this sounds interesting to you, I suggest you buy ASAP.
Art - 6-10. This is the only area in which I feel somewhat moderate. You might adore the art, think that the cutesy charm layers on top of the horrific subject matter in such a way that the result is a brilliant insight into the mind of a child plagued by fear. You might think it looks lazy and that there is altogether too much poop. Your mileage may vary. I'm somewhere in the middle; I think the graphics look fine and do a great job of reinforcing the game's themes, but don't much attention to them anymore.
Price - Dirt Cheap. I purchased this game and its expansion on sale for less than 3 dollars. That's about the price of a mid sized fast food hamburger, sans drink. With a conservative estimate of 700 hours played, that's a .4 cents per hour of entertainment ratio. I think that's a pretty good deal. It still goes on sale regularly, but it is well worth the full price. By christmas of the year I first purchased it I had re-bought Isaac and its expansion another four times to give to friends as christmas gifts.
TL;DR It's a poop-filled masterpiece that you'd be crazy to pass up. 10/10 would cry again. I just wrote an essay in response to a one sentence question. I am not a smart man.
Author's note: In the middle of writing this long, slightly deranged rant, my power went out. Fortunately, as a result of this happening during one too many long, deranged rants, I have this bit of genius software installed on my computer, so there weren't any problems. Consider that a double recommendation I guess.

There is no legitimate reason to nerf the range by such a huge margin. That pretty much sealed the deal, trying to make sure they didn't **** up the sniper rifle was the only thing keeping me playing. Without stressing a significant improvement in hit-detection, solely changing the headshot multipliers isn't enough to make it usable competitively. It's improved as a situational tool and removed the utility to be used as a single player's role for an entire match.
And if the red-line was an actual concern they they completely missed the point because as long as it has a range of 150m people will still be back, deep in the red-line, making sure no infantry can attack them.
