I am seriously loving the MagSec SMG.
It really has some bite now, and has become my go-to sidearm.
Which is nice because while the Bolt Pistol kills 80% of the time (about 20% it shouldn't but still does.) but it lacks the look, the feel. And the fact that it's not automatic like I like.
I know they will nerf it though. That thing is tearing CQC up.
An Gk.0 assault came up to my Ck.0 assault, I switched to my Magsec and he went down on health faster than ever, I lost the firefight due to a Mass Driver Mk.0 Assault (Blue Jar addict type) finishing me off with his Freedom.
Really nice gun now, and I really like to stress that it's to be used now.
Also, Shields are looking a lot more fearsome for the Caldari.
I really want to get to 30 Million ISK before going to try my NKs back out again, and finally pull off a Minja. (I really miss the speed of the little dart.)
This post basically shows you I am still a kid in a candy shop with this new Hotfix.

I have been running a CalScout lately, i have fit it a bunch of different ways.
current fit:
State Scout C-1
2 Complex Rechargers
1 Basic Recharger
1 Complex Shield
Enhanced CPU
Enhanced Regulator
Militia Nova Knives
M8 Packed Locus
It has a godly recharge rate of 128.05 HP/s and 235 shields. And with shields being in a good place now, actually surviving man |

Beyond damage threshold, CalScout Shield stats weren't changed. How is that fit any different than the same fit pre-FoxFour ? The only major difference (I've found) is that you die faster than before on average.

Tried running MN Scout without shields or armor. So far, I've only been able to make it *work with the Plasma Cannon + NKs.
