No worries bro!! I'm sure we'll squad up again sometime!
I did get into a squad with someone, can't quite recall the name - he was an impressive knifer; and again I'm awed by the scouts here! Draxis Prime I think it was, maybe. Anyway, we got stomped on the 2nd match like you and I did the other day. I think DC'd (or left) - either way it was so bad I should have done the same!
I did end up scrubbing out on a rail turret though and racked up almost 2k WP and killed 3 dropships and a tank. So, it wasn't all bad.
(And I rail sniped some doofuses off a few high buildings) |

Fair point. My thinking is that HP and Speed should be inversely related. Example: Proposed Speed:HPScout > Logi > Assault > Commando > Heavy (Speed) Scout < Logi < Assault < Commando < Heavy (HP) Current Speed:HPScout > Assault > Logi > Commando > Heavy (Speed) Scout < Logi < Assault < Commando < Heavy (HP)
In today's blast from the past as I catch up on current events I'd like to point out that I really like this idea.
Also, I'm just figuring out that my warbarge will (eventually) give a bonus to primary weapon damage (or heavy weapon damage, like that matters to me). I am sad now.
My beloved sidearms take another hit. It's OK my poor SCP, you've been nerfed before and now I'm being incentivised to set you aside, but I still love you.

Actually I think this is just a cultural difference. America is far more customer-service focused than say, England. It's perfectly normal to tip higher and in more situations. Hell you even leave a dollar on the bar when served drinks in a "pub". At least you do if you're not an ignorant tourist.
So you can earn a lot of money waiting tables - possibly more than you would expect to earn here, but the wife is on the phone so I can't get her insight on it.
In all honestly, a terrible thing they have in America is the employment law, or lack of it. Here we're well protected - it's hard for a company to do wrong by it's employees, but in America....ouch.
Take that further to look at all facets of consumer protected laws - nightmare. Here we have ombudsmen and laws to prevent companies taking the ****. In US, you're most definitely the little guy.
However, what you're used to is what you're used to...hence culture.

Surely the thinking is deciding when and where to wear the suit. Merely having an HMG is a deterrent when in the right place at the right time. Pretty sure could say exactly the same thing about knives, no?

BBC is pretty cool.. you might have us on media.. but then again.. we gave you the internet. wash Our english accent is what your ****** singers sing in.. so.. :D
The first bugs me too, but you can't say "outrageously" when you have situations like Aussieland and Brazil.
Oh of course, because America hasn't produced terrible pop music like Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Usher, Rihanna and Kanye West and forced them upon the world. You guys would never inflict such torture on us.
We don't (as far as I know) try pass them off as legitimate accents and then be surprised when we go over to your country where no one talks like that.
Microsoft. They were the ones that put Nokia out of business and took over them. And how can you say that a phone I can tie a string around and use as a weapon is a bad invention?
Ours came first *****.
I'm just amazed such a thoroughly undemocratic practice is so widely revered. Why in the world should I be expected to offer a bribe to my waiter so I can get "proper" service? That's all it is and what the roots of it are, rich fatcats bribing people so they get their food sooner and better than the little guy.
'No movie industry' Make me wonder how several hugely successful films such as Death at a Funeral, Harry Potter films, Monty Python films, Snatch, 28 days later, Zulu, Kingsman, 2001 Space Odyssey, Atonement, Slumdog Millionaire, Calvary, The Guard, The Wind That Shakes the Barely, The Butcher Boy, In Bruges, the Bourne Films, The Fifth Element, the Taken franchise and The Transporter just to name a few came out of a region without a film industry.
Eh, BBC is alright but they do a terrible job whenever they talk about Ireland. I generally find Channel 4 to be much better if I want an English station.
That last on barely makes sense, people sing how they sing, they don't try sound American while they do. Also I was talking about how you mangled up the spelling.
Try again Yank

The HP / Speed Curve was rolled out alongside a reduction in strafe speed multiplier (iirc 100% of forward movement to 60% or 70% of forward movement) and +1 slot for Commandos. I personally thought it'd be safer to implement the Speed HP Curve then the Strafe Reduction later (was concerned both simultaneously might be too much). Rattati and Cross felt otherwise. They were right; I was wrong.

#1: A butchered version of English #2: The Apple company. (Apple music has a -ú9.99 pricetag in the UK and $9.99 in the US. Really? **** you.) #3: Tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists being appointed as 'terrorism advisors' to your government and doing things like declaring Birmingham a non-Muslim free zone operating under Sharia law. #4: American media. When I was on a skiing trip in Vermont, I was watching TV and it was like "This super amazing fitness package can be yours for only five easy instalments of $39.99!" The news quality was also hideous. #5: You. #6: Strange obsession with guns #7: Excessive touchy feely stuff and openness. No, sir 'merican, hugging on the tube is not acceptable. Why are you talking to me? How can you even start a conversation with a stranger on the tube? #8: Texas #9: The neverending stream of 'threat to the president' films. Why is this so fascinating? If someone shot the prime minister I'd be like "Huh" and then carry on with my day. Also, no, that isn't because I'm a rabid anti-Conservative.

Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga are the only two on that list that musically bad. Kanye West may be a gay fish, but his music isn't that bad. Everyone else is fine.
Also the Harry Potter films are American. The books aren't, but the movies are.

But dude, TBL *only* invented the WWW (specifically, hyperlinks)
The Internet is so much more than that, and what allows the WWW to be. So you can't really say TBL is a reason Britain contributed more to the Internet. The very fabric of what allows all that stuff to actually work was created at DARPA.
Not saying TBL's contribution isn't immense - just that he had nothing to do with the Internet.

There are immense contributions to science from numerous nations that made the information age possible. Attributing it to either a single nation or a few people is a mistake.
