Hey guys I've just got back to the game and I wanna play scout. I already unlocked the Caldari Scout suit and I'm planning to use the Assault Rail Rifle. I guess I shouldn't use any sidearm since the CPU/PG is low. I put some shield extenders and regulators. Is this the way to go for a Caldari Scout suit or should I use sprint modules instead? Any tips for the build are appreciated. |

Skill Scrambler Pistol
Skill Locus Grenades
Get those to proto and you are going to get things going good.
Well, you don't have to have Proto Shotgun or Scrambler, but those are good!
Wish I could help you, but my Calscout fits are all failscades no matter what I put onto it.
Except for a Six Kin ACR/Isho NKs on a Ck.0/C/1 Series.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I already have my mind on the Caldari suit. I always wanted to play one when it was finally going to be released. So not currently looking for the best scout in general, but for making a Caldari suit as effective as possible. Since I'm going ARR or AScR, is a sidearm really needed at all? And if it is, which one is a good complement for these? Also, I equipped a Cloak Field, not sure if it'll work well with these weapons, or should get another equipment instead. |

Tip #1 - Ignore Sir Raven Wing.
Secondary Weapons
Depending upon the map, I'd recommend pairing that ARR with either Nova Knives or the Bolt Pistol.
High Slots
Lots of options here. I have fits running each of the following:
1 Precision Enhancer + 3 Shield Extenders (the added buffer comes in handy)
3 Precision Enhancers + 1 Shield Extender (squishy, but an effective scout hunter)
1 Precision Enhancer + 1 Shield Extenders + 2 MyoFibs (jumps are a fun way to open new techniques and paths)
Low Slots
Fewer options here, given that you only have two lows. I highly recommend running 1 complex dampener to drop your scan profile below competitive active scans (21dB). In your other low, you really can't go wrong with HP or Biotics. I recommend against shield regulators as your delay is already super quick; I'd also recommend against range extenders as their yield/utility weak relative to what'd you get from a KinCat or Plate.
Equipment
Again, lots of options. Active Scanner, Uplinks, Remotes, Cloak, Hives or any combination thereof. If you're running cloak, Advanced is the sweet spot; Standard is often a little short on reserves and will leave you exposed on longer trips into the open; the excess pool afforded the Prototype variant isn't worth the added resource requirements.

Not exactly going to advise you on the slots, I'll leave that to Adipem.
The ARR is good, but it's kick is just a bit too much to handle when in Medium range. Try the RR and stick to range.
The sidearm would be either Bolt Pistol, SMG, or ScP.
The Advanced cloak, in my opinion, is the best, so if you want to go unseen to the unaware, it's great. Just make sure to time your movements correctly.
Links are good for WP farming and can be used to create a Logiscout. (Not Recommended.)
REs are a nice defensive, and offensive if you know how to use them, equipment. Rep Tools are not recommended.
Scanners are very useful if you want to pinpoint where enemies are, usually assaults and Heavies, but sometimes scouts too.
If you are going to use a RR and do not have anything into RR Ammo Skill, I would recommend using a Nanohive, make sure it does not have an '(R)' these are armour healing hives, not ammo hives.

Having trouble deciding what to spend SP on.
In Dropsuit Command I have all scouts and Amarr Ass at lvl 5. Any other suit I use (except for Amarr Hvy) is either lvl 3 or lvl 4.
Most everything in Dropsuit Upgrades is maxed at 5. The only two skills right now that I'd benefit from is bringing Shield Recharging/Regulation from lvl 3 to lvl 5. Only other things to do would be to bring Scanner/Cloak/Uplinks from lvl 3 to lvl 5.
Weaponry skills, if it is a Light Weapon I use regularly, Operation is lvl 5 and most support skills are lvl 3 or higher. The same goes for Sidearms. Hvy Weapons I don't use too much.
Which leaves Vehicle Command/Upgrades/Turrets. While I don't use vehicles often, I could work more on my Vehicle/Turret upgrades to make going Proto tanks more worth it. I could at least get the fitting skills to go from a decently deadly Gunnlogi to a super deadly Madruger. Plus more LAV goodness, "WHHEEEEE'S!", and explosions.

I don't do friendly, unless it is with friends. I lost all friendly with zor when he pissed out and corp hopped into an Asian corp, then talked **** like he was almighty. He issued a friendly with Nos Nothi, not Vader's Fist. Blaze should not include all of VF, speak only for yourselves unless otherwise stated.
