Thoughts on PC.
Staring of generally I really like a lot of the new mechanics and feel they have fixed a lot of issues. I believe that a few of the CP costs could use some tweaking such as CP cost for changing timers large amounts (go from a linear cost to exponential) as well as increasing the cost for selling clones (maybe by doubling, we need to encourage more attacks and a little less farming).
I would like to say I really like the change to battle reward mechanics with splitting up the value of what you destroy, this alone is a huge improvement over the old system.
I think the biggest remaining issues is adding a fairly hefty CP cost for using ringers. I'd argue it should be slightly less for using alliance members but not that much less. Personally I'd suggest like 5000 CP per ringer per battle so a full 15 ringers would use up almost all your CP's (75k) with maybe 3500 CP per alliance ringer. I believe that the majority of a team fielded should always belong to the corp who's attacking/defending a district unlike the more common case these days where it's not. This single change would completely reshape PC and actually mean that the majority of the time you would be fighting who you attacked or whoever attacked you. |

Is there a list with this statistic on it? I need to know. For Science. Lol. Not sure if there's any science or statistics to point to. Personal observation and anecdote. And Playboy. The magazine ran a hottest college campus survey of several years back; the small college here reportedly ranked in the Top 10. Coincidentally, the college also has one of the top nursing programs in the country :-) I'm not originally from here, by the way; the state I grew up in (Indiana) is not known for pretty people; there's an old joke that each and every one of IU's good-looking cheerleaders attended on scholarship. Not as well-traveled as Mollerz, but I've visited most states and several different countries; I find the ratio of pretty girls here to be disproportionately high. Buddies from other areas who visit report the same. There could be truth to the claims that the French tend to produce prettier women, and this area was originally settled by outcasts from French Canada. Lots of money here on account of petroleum ... lots of rich people eating and breeding well over the years. Maybe there's some science at the root of it all.

Recent PC fun.
So, I find it sad that corps are still locking their districts after sending attacks. We've had one corp do it twice now and another do it last week. Given the current game mechanics it doesn't even seem that optimal to me, except in this case where they didn't have enough clones to re-attack without leaving their district really low.
If they hadn't locked their district i would have actually spent the 30million to send a clone pack since our other district is under attack too.
Edit: the ironic thing is if we loose our two districts we'll have more free clone packs then we know what to do with... and I can definitely say a certain corp that locks it districts will be target. I also forgot to mention this corp only had like 2 or 3 of their guys in the battle last night. |

Most ringers wouldn't give up their tags, IMO. If it became an issue you could easily add the same CP cost to corp members that have been in the corp for < 1 week. |

He has had multiple threads asking for fitting advice over various suits.
Minmatar Assault, and now the scout. I gave advice for the Assault, and he decided to go and forgo most advice and pick and choose what he though he liked best, ignoring the reasoning why we built those suits a certain way.
Combine that with my Min Scout Armor rage, and you get that post I made. The link I gave has TONS of advice on how to fit multiple suits. Still helpful, even if the delivery was sub-par.

It also used to be free, since the cost of the pack was refunded in the case of a no show.
Now you lose the ISK. So people decided to show up to fights to harvest the genolution of the clones.
Then they removed that. So now people just don't lock anymore. Unless you are, of course, scared out your mind that you might lose the district.

The following things cause locked districts:
- Changing the district timer
- Buying a clone pack on your district to get more clones
- Moving clones to your district from another district (i'm fairly sure this still does it)

Yeah, what he said. My above list was about the actual district locked state, not the concept of locking your district on purpose by having another corp hit it but no show. |

Also, locked districts do not generated clones at the next reinforcement window and if someone attacks the district it requires one extra day till the battle starts. |

/sigh, I may need another respec... I hit 40M SP the other day, and even though I already used a respec once, I put about 2.6M SP into Tanks in a rage, and I already probably had about another 2-4M SP in ADS... I've also got Cal Assault to level 3 and RRs to level 4, with Gal Assault at level 1 and ARs to level 3, as well as a bunch of other experiments and stuff, like level 3 Mass Drivers.
I still like my Amarr Assault, but I think I like it more than the Min Assault, and I'd like to skill out of that. I used to have Minmando to level 3, and that was pretty fun. I used to run it with a CR and Swarms.
I still have about 40K AUR from when I bought the Vet Pack when it was half price.

Tanks are expensive. I did use one succesfully the other night against a team where we had like 7 vs 14. Multiple AV users and they didn't break me. I even murdered a missile tank, although I suspect he wasn't the best tanker. |
